Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This recipe is perfect as is and I would advise not to make any changes. I have also tried adding vegetables to the crock pot and it takes away from the taste of the gravy and I had to add corn starch to thicken it.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

I have made this recipe many times and it is my go to recipe for hamburger steak. It is 5 stars without any changes. I do make a variation with French Onion Soup as one reviewer suggested and it is also 5 stars. My only word of caution is to skip the season salt or any kind of salt if you use French Onion soup, because it already has enough salt to begin with. I have also found that any dry red wine will work if you don't have sherry, but definitely don't skip on using wine.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Key Lime Pie VII

This recipe is great and easy to make. However, the recipe makes a little more than you need for one 9 inch pie. I cut it back to 2 cans sweetened condense, 1/3 cup sour cream and 1/2 cup key lime juice.

Thai Spiced Barbecue Shrimp

I will have to say, this is my favorite way to make shrimp. I did not have curry paste and substituted a tablespoon of Thai Chili Sauce and it works out very good. Be careful though, it can get pretty spicy.

Tater Crisp Chicken

This is a great recipe. I have found it is best to use the flavored mashed potatoes. The four cheese Idahoan brand goes really well with this one. I also add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne to it to give it a little kick.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

This is an excellent way to prepare cauliflower. I like my food a little spicy, so I added a 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder to the mix and it is now my favorite way to have it.

Fasoliyyeh Bi Z-Zayt (Syrian Green Beans with Olive Oil)

This has become my favorite way to prepare green beans. I was amazed at how big an impact the cilantro had on the end result I think I even use close to half cup of cilantro. I try to be careful with the oil, because I don't like me beans very oily. I also like to turn the heat up a little the last few minutes and brown the beans slightly. Make sure to keep stirring if you turn the heat up.

Dijon-Tarragon Cream Chicken

This is an excellent recipe. I think my girlfriends requests it almost every week. I use half and half instead of heavy cream to cut back on the fat a little and it really does not seem to make that big of a difference in the flavor or texture. I would definitely recomend doubling the sauce, because it is amazing.

Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

I have made these grill cheeses several times and they are great. I like to use fresh parmesan and mozzerella mixed, topped with pepperoni slices. They are great served with a bowl of creamy tomato soup to dip them in.
