Chicken Breasts Pierre

I must offer a dissenting opinion on this one. Brown sugar and worcestershire dominated all other flavors. Pierre won't be invited back for dinner at our house.

Grilled Eggplant, Tomato and Goat Cheese

This was so-so. A bit of a trick to do the flipping on the grill - taste was OK, but still something. I will try again - cutting eggplant thicker, and not making sandwiches of it.

Greek Garbanzo Bean Salad

Very yummy salad. I used less dressing and more feta cheese - and we enjoyed this salad a lot. This will be a great summer salad - cool with very fresh tastes - will make this one again.

Popcorn Salad

Not a hit with either the kids or adults. We are a house of adventurous eaters, and major lovers of homemade popcorn - but this one misses the mark. Will not mke this one again.

BUSH'S® Tuscan Garbanzo and Sun-dried Tomato Soup

This soup tasted good, but was not a crowd pleaser with the kids - who are good sports about trying new things. I will cut back on the rosemary for sure next time, and the crushed red pepper gave it more of a kick than I thought it would.

Thai Chicken Burgers

I rate this one as only OK. I'm a big fan of Thai food, but this one was a little weak. Not popular with the kids either - and they are fairly adventurous eaters. Probably won't make this one again.

Watermelon Gazpacho

This was OK - I was disappointed after reading all the other great reviews. Perhaps my palate is not sophisticated enough to appreciate this one. My kids are champs at trying new things and neither one liked this at all. Probably will not make this one again.

Really enjoyed this, and will make it again. It was a bit too lemony though. next time, I will half the lemon juice. Also only used half the olive oil.

Asian Coleslaw

Took this to a Superbowl gathering and got great reviews from friends. I definitely recommend not putting on the dressing until time to serve. I also made a few adjustments to the dressing: Cut Soy Sauce to 2Tbs Used 2 Tbs dark sesame oil and 4 Tbs vegetable oil instead of all vegetable oil. Cut peanut butter to 4 Tbs and was still plenty peanutty. The is an easy one and a crowd pleaser - give it a try.

Jamie's Minestrone

This is just a great soup - some of the best ministrone we've ever had. My wife and I both really enjoyed it, and our 10 year old even ate a bowl! Next time I think I'll add a bit more garlic, chicken stock, and use the whole can of kidney beans. I'll definitely make this one again.
