Lemon Basmati Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2013
This is a great recipe for boring white rice! I am rating this recipe as written! The second time I made it (right now)I used regular long grain white rice and used an orange instead of lemon. Added some chopped jalapeno's as well :) Went great with my Spiced Orange Pork Chops. Thanks for the recipe!

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2013
I rated this recipe a 4 and the ONLY reason I did was one MAIN thing and then just something simple. PLEASE don't use canned enchilada sauce on this AMAZING recipe! This recipe is fantastic and deserves a homemade sauce! The only other thing I did different was used 1 cup of homemade chicken stock in place of the water and used thigh meat instead of breast meant, my preference :) Thanks MomSavedbyGrace for an amazing recipe :)

Antipasto Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2012
I am rating this as per recipe! First time I made it, followed exactly, love it. The other times I have made~one in oven now~I add red pepper flakes to the egg mixture. I have used monterey Jack cheese this time, as I have no provolone in house. It is only my husband and I so I only use one crescent package and tear in half and use an 8x8 pan. Great for any occasion, especially football season :)

Chicken In Sour Cream

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2012
I very much enjoy this dish! I, like alot of others do not add any salt, Onion soup mix has plenty. I brown my thighs in butter, then deglaze the pan with a little white wine and add that to the mushroom/sour cream mix. Place in some carrots and potato's to the dish pour mix over all of it....complete meal!

Annie's Lobster Bisque

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
Wonderful Bisque! I have made this recipe several times. Followed directions exactly, came out perfect and have varied a little and came out perfect. Some of my variations: I used fish stock once instead of Chicken both, butter instead of olive oil and used shrimp and crab meat instead of lobster. I have a pot of this on my stove as I type :) Thank you so much for the wonderful recipe.

Beef Wellington

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
Absolutely devine! The only "mess up" was on the puff pastry. My husband picked up the puff shells, so as you can imagine I had a time trying to get the meat wrapped. My store did not have regular liver pate so I used Mushroom/liver pate instead. And a bit of advise, if ones are looking for more of a cordon bleu recipe I'm sure there are plenty on this site. This is an ellagant recipe and it is what it states, Beef Wellington ;) Thank you for the wonderful recipe. Will definalty make again ;)

Beef and Irish Stout Stew

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
I am giving this recipe 4 stars because is a great concept. Now, I didn't realize I HATED Guiness beer as much as I do! LOL..as other reviewers had done, I tried to take out the bitterness of it by adding brown sugar..then I added worcheshire..some beef broth..more tomato paste, cooked it longer. This helped some, but this stew is not to MY likiing. If you like Guiness beer, make this dish! If not, don't waste your money. I may try again one day using a different beer. But again, I am not giving it a bad review, this is just MY personal preference. And don't forget, some say it was too bland, this is where step 3 comes in, taste and adjust seasoning. :)

Greek Salad Sandwich with Creamy Lemon Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
I normally do not take the time to rate recipes, I should I guess, but anyhow....ths is fantastic!! I add greek olives to my salad mix. I added more mayo to the dressing, I like it a little thicker. And the Naan bread is a MUST! Warm the bread in the oven at 400 for 3 mins....Devine! Thanks for the wonderful recipe :)

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2007
Umm. Well. These cookies were good. But I didn't taste oatmeal in them AT ALL. I followed the recipe and also took the advice of the "20 yr vet." and used 1 tsp of vanilla extract and 1 tsp of water. They came out chewy, they were nice. But as far as calling them "oatmeal" cookies, well....But maybe my taste buds are burnt out. I gave them only 3 stars because I guess maybe the chocolate chips overroad the oatmeal. But as far as taste, they were pretty good. All the girls at work ate them (and they said the same thing, where's the oatmeal?) I'll look for another "oatmeal" cookie recipe. Thanks anyway!

Simple Country Ribs

Reviewed: May 29, 2007
Made these ribs this w/end. Everyone loved them. I used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, and boiled ribs in beer as another reviewer said. Turned out great. Nothing like great "American" grillin'. If you make this recipe right, it turns out GREAT! Thanks for the recipe!!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2006
Excellent dip! Took it to my Christmas office party and everyone loved it. There was alot of fancy foods there and they all wanted the recipe for this dip. I did add a layer of chopped avacodo and omitted the green bell peppers (yuck). I used hot picante sauce and hot taco seasoning. Excellent! Thanks!

Country Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2006
Made this casserole this w/end. Loved it. While cooking the sausage I added in mushrooms. I used Jimmy Dean Hot sausage, gave it a zing! I forgot the bread cubes and it was still great. With out bread it makes a good Low Carb diet if you're into that.
