Grilled Zucchini and Squash

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2012
20 minutes was a bit too long for us, the veggies ended up soggy. Tasty none-the-less.

Avocado Salad with Bacon and Sour Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2012
Interesting salad, I like it. Definitely spreadable & creamy. It's a bit too creamy for me to just place on top of lettuce. It needs a rivaling texture; perhaps entertainment crackers or toasted bread?

Oven Fried Chicken IV

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
I like this recipe yet I don't entirely dig the baking technique with the cooling rack. I'd rather bake the chicken in a 9x13 or on a basic cookie sheet. It was crunchy but a bit on the dry side. I did, however, like using the sour cream.

Spinach and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2012
Great recipe as is, especially with fresh spinach. With an addition of crumbled feta cheese & slivered almonds this was a better textured dish. I found that my family enjoyed it more after it sat in the fridge for a few hours.

David's Yellow Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2012
Apart from having to put the cake together without the birthday boy knowing what a mess it originally was, it's a tasty cake; moist and flavorful. (It stuck to the pans.)

Strawberry Whipped Sensation

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2012
This is an extremely easy and delightful recipe and tastes just like strawberry ice cream. I am very pleased I decided to go with this one, and I can't wait to share it outside the home.

Mary's Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2012
Sinful, creamy, and delicious. Too many ingredients for just a 9 inch springform though. That was really the only problem I ran into. Other than that everything was fine; even the cooking time. Thanks for sharing this, Michele.

Easy Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2012
I like the touch of dijon. The salt, on the other hand, is way too much. I wish I would have paid better attention to that when preparing. Otherwise this was a very easy and delicious recipe. Thanks.

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2012
Good stuff. Wasn't sure about the honey at first but when all was said and done it was fabulous. I did, however, have to bake mine for an extra 25 min it seems.

Greek Tzatziki

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2012
LeeleeCooks wasn't lying when she said it "only gets better with time". It was great the moment I made it but now that it's been 2 days later I must say the taste really improved. I'm impressed. I've tried making another version of this sauce in the past but didn't have ANY luck due to my lack of knowledge w/ draining yogurt. I was timid with making this again so rather than buying plain yogurt I went ahead and bought a Greek Yogurt Spread (I forget the brand). No draining needed and it was thick! We used this tonight for dipping fried steak fingers and we plan to incorporate the rest into a couple more meals over the week. Love it love it, thanks Leelee.

Strawberry Muffins

Average. I'll definitely make this recipe again. It's acceptable and I can dig that. My kids loved them. Maybe a drop of strawberry extract would spruce them up a bit, they're mild in taste. Thanks Katie!

Almond Butter Icing

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2012
This is the very first frosting that I was able to make (using the instructions of course) that actually came out at the consistency I was looking for. Thanks. I think it it could handle a little more almond extract though. Thanks DeDe!

Awesome soup! Just the right amount of spices too, thanks sal. I've made this a couple times over the last week and my family loved it. The second time I added spinach and broccoli. Both good additions!

Creamy Baked Cheesecake

Not our type of cheesecake. Too much like a lemon bar but spongy. Not exactly creamy either. We will not make this recipe again.
