Kickin' London Broil with Bleu Cheese Butter

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2009
I am only rating the bleu cheese butter because we used filet mignon instead. It was a hit. So simple and delicious.

Creamy Spinach Soup

I changed it up quite a bit but thanks for giving me such a great head start. I'll surely be making this again, especially when the winter comes around. I used heavy whipping cream, added shredded carrots, a couple potatoes and curry powder.

Breakfast Burritos

We've been making our own variation of this for a couple years now. I saw the recipe this morning and wanted to suggest using a can of diced tomatoes with chilies and some black olives. A dollop of sour cream never hurts either.

Quick and Easy Eggs Benedict

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
I have made this twice; the first time I made the recipe to a T, I didn't change a thing and I enjoyed it very much. This morning, however, I changed it up by adding spinach, more cayenne pepper, absolutely NO salt, and used regular ham. Still tasted great. Thanks.

Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2009
Oh my goodness, the blue cheese gravy is one of the most delicious sauces I have ever made AND tasted! I was leery about it at first but my boyfriend insisted I make it, and I am glad I did. I am going to use this sauce for other things as well. My pork chops were far from bland (as other reviewers mentioned) but I think it's because I increased the amount of spices and also added some roasted minced garlic that we buy in a jar. I love making pork chops, so I tend to focus on NOT letting them end up bland. Thanks for sharing this recipe, it's now one of my favorites.

Glazed Herb Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
The sauce is great, I'll be using it again for dipping purposes. We marinaded our wings (not breasts) for 4 hours and still could not taste it after grilling. The orange juice {sugar} caused the chicken to burn before they were even done. Next time I will bake the chicken when using this sauce. It's really good though, I recommend giving it a whirl.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
Went down very well with the boyfriend and roommate. Next time we'll be using Italian sausage rather than ground beef, it was too much of a "sloppy joe" dinner. I wanted something that you could light candles to. I added chipotle powder and a TAD of chili powder as well, which was a good choice.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
Mine came out on the firm side but that was my fault, I think I left them in the oven too long. I like them, none-the-less. Probably will not be using this exact recipe next time though.

Cream Peas

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
Though my roommates loved them, I thought they were just "ok". Next time I will punch up the spices. If it weren't for the sugar, these would have had no taste. Too floury, in my opinion. Maybe onion powder next time??

Mom's Meat Loaf

I have been making this recipe since I first discovered this website a few years ago and I just had to share with all of you how much my family loves it. It's simple, tasty, and unique. If that makes any sense. I love the sage idea, thanks for sharing. Sometimes I add a little rosemary in with my ketchup topping.

Ginny's Cauliflower and Pea Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
This is a great salad and I absolutely love the dressing but it turned out to be way too wet for my taste. I even cut down on the wet ingredients and still it was too wet. But I enjoyed it none-the-less. I left out the Splenda and seasoned salt though. (Splenda scares me, haha.)
