Apple Breakfast Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
I found this to be extremely simple & easy to make and let's just say I haven't stopped eating it since I took it out of the oven, it's absolutely delicious! Next time I will put a little less cloves. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2008
I have been making this recipe for a while now and I must admit it's become my favorite. I think it's involved but oh so worth it. Sometimes I like to add a hint of almond extract in the sour cream topping. This is the one time I allow myself to splurge on such a decadent dessert. I would give this more than 5 stars if possible because it is THE BEST!

Spinach Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2007
Gosh, I was terribly disappointed tonight with this dish. I remember making them a couple years ago and it being a hit. I can't really point where it went wrong tonight. Really? All that butter? Jeez, when I cut into this thing I saw it was literally sitting in a pool of butter. It made consumption difficult. I should edit my favorite recipes before the night is over so I don't run into this situation again 2 years down the line. I remember this recipe being so very tasty and hard to stop eating. I cannot say that tonight. Next time I will definitely use less butter than what the recipe calls.

Skillet Corn Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2007
I am not really a corn bread fan ...so, I don't really know what to compare this with. It was fast, easy and tasted just fine. A little flat though. Maybe it was something I did. Or didn't do. At any rate, thanks for sharing this, it went great with my home made beef stew.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2007
I've reviewed this before but I just had to do it again because the recipe was sent to me in my e-mail this morning and it reminded me of what a fabulous soup this is. We have made this taco soup a bunch of times and it's such a hit each time. Of course I change it up to suit whatever I have in the kitchen but it's still great none-the-less. I am not really a fan of taco salads and this is a great way to incorporate it into a soup. So yummy! Thanks for sharing this.

Pork Chop Dinner

I absolutely loved this meal. The pork chops were extremely tender and the juices from the veggies were delightful. I will definitely be making this again and again and again.

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2007
I wouldn't go as far as saying this was "terribly" dry. It does need punching up, lacking needed juices. Much potential here.

Southern Potato Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2007
It's great "as is" but over the last 2 years I've played with other ingredients as I do with every other potato salad. Or any salad for that matter. Adding bacon, red onion and spinach! Talk about delicious! A splash of vinegar is good too. Never a complaint.

Brunch Potato Casserole

You cannot go wrong with this dish, my friends and family have been enjoying this for a couple years now and it will certainly remain in our rotation for years to come. I like to change it up with whatever I have on hand; spinach being a MUST! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful recipe. Kudos!

Cranberry Pork Chops II

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2007
I've been making this recipe AS IS over two years now and we realize how much we love it every single time. The chops are tender and very juicy. We didn't need a knife. Awesome dish, PLEASE give it a whirl. UPDATE: May 2010 / We've been decreasing the amount of white sugar and adding a little brown instead. Regardless, these are never not a hit. With anyone.
