Jalapeno Steak

Very nice and different. For us. I don't remember ever using a blender for a marinade before. Very cool, lol. What a great summer recipe. Thanks.

San Francisco Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2014
These are delicious but the cooking time is a little long. The chops were tough but still extremely tasty. Every single person in my family gobbled them up, especially my 2 year old. Love love love the sauce. Thanks. I'll be sure to make these again (with thicker chops!).

Asian Glazed Chicken Thighs

Good stuff. Had everything on hand except for the honey so I used light agave nectar instead and it came out fine. Thanks for sharing.

Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

Reviewed: May 31, 2014
After I had committed myself in making this recipe I realized I did not have any honey. So I made the recipe anyway with light agave nectar. It turned out wonderfully and the family agreed. Sweet & sticky, loved it. Thanks.

Spinach, Caramelized Onion, and Muenster Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: May 24, 2014
How could you NOT love a dish like this? It's so comforting and full of flavor. I definitely recommend you let this one keep you company one night. Caramelized onions win me over every time. And I like the fact this recipe is versatile. I added cubed ham and made this dish the "main" dish. I have made things like this before. I am glad I came across it today. My kids weren't too keen on it but that's only because they could see the spinach, lol. If I make this again I will make a smaller portion.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2014
So far my favorite brownie recipe. These are the exact texture I expect in a brownie; chewy & dense. And the chocolate is intense. I have been making another recipe from this site regularly but I am glad to say I am switching to this one. Since there is a load of sugar I will decrease the amount of white and add a little brown.

Jenny's Black Forest Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2014
This is it! This is the chocolate cake I have been searching for. It's moist, sticky, and spongy. Since I don't have two 8 inch cake pans I used two 9 inch pans and it still baked well at 30 minutes. I love how chocolatey it is. It's intensely chocolate actually. And kudos for the coffee addition, it does good things for the chocolate. This recipe is definitely a winner. My family enjoyed it very much and it didn't last long at all. I already have requests to make another. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2014
This is so delicious, it's like its own little dessert. I would have been happy spreading this on top of a graham cracker, lol. I noticed a couple people having trouble with the consistency but if you notice in the instructions it suggests putting in the refrigerator after using. Try placing it into the refrigerator 15 minutes before using as well and it firms up just fine. I spread mine into a 9x13 of brownies, so I didn't really care what consistency it was. Tasty regardless. Thanks.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2014
I think baking them for an hour and a half was a bit of an overkill in my opinion, they were texturally unappealing. I had a great cut of meat and do not understand why they would end up this way.

Chocolate Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2014
Made once with the chocolate & chocolate chips and then again without any chocolate & chocolate chips. Both went over very well and probably one of the best banana bread recipes I have ever made. I can't find anything wrong with this recipe.

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2014
My my, what a recipe. Absolutely loved this, so delicious and simple. During the browning process I added small pats of butter on each side of the skillet because 2 tablespoons was barely enough. After I browned them for a good 8 minutes on each side I put them in my preheated oven to keep them warm so I could make the honey glaze. I thoroughly enjoyed this recipe and was quite impressed. I've been looking at it for quite some time now and very pleased with the results. I am thinking this honey & pecan glaze would be great with salmon fillets as well. Thanks for sharing this recipe, it's a keeper.

Simple Turkey Chili

Fabulous, my friend, fabulous. This is an excellent turkey chili, the spices are definitely on the mark. I doubled everything because of guests and lots of children, lol. I am eating it as I type and I must say it's hard to put down the bowl.

Oven Barbecued Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2014
Wow, where has this recipe been all my life? This is absolutely delicious. I am impressed. The bbq sauce was simple and the chicken was tender & juicy. My children asked for more and that always adds a star in my book. I am definitely keeping this one close. Thanks for sharing this, I'm glad I finally tried it.

Simple Salmon with Balsamic Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2014
We have been making this dish for a while, it's one of our favorite ways to prepare salmon. The balsamic sauce is so delicious, just simply drizzle a little of the sauce on a salad and you're ready to go! Sometimes I substitute brown sugar for the white. Thanks for posting this, I can't believe I haven't reviewed it already.

Turkey Drumsticks Perfecto

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2014
Other than having to take out of the oven in half the time directed, I did everything this recipe said to do but the end result was inedible. Rubber. I took a suggestion of putting the drumsticks on a rack rather than directly into the broth but even then the meat was boiled-like and not tasty at all. Wasn't a fan, sorry.

Marvelous Mini Mexican Quiches

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2013
Measurements were way off for me. I was able to make the dough as directed but it did not go the length expected. I did enjoy the taste of the dough, however. And the filling is quite delectable too. I love making quiches but I am not too familiar with making them miniature. I will definitely have to work on my measurements. I only have one 12 cup muffin pan and this recipe filled just that amount. There's no way I could stretch it to make 24. My mistake?

Pesto Herb Spread

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2013
This is delicious and I cannot wait to share it with my lady friends at church today. With half of the recipe I used sun-dried tomato pesto And I am thinking of adding slivered almonds the next time I make it. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
