Oh My tasty chicken Heaven!! Is this ever a keeper~the taste is amazing and the ingrediants so simple. Used boneless chicken breast and pounded them thin, then cooked them on the grill. Amazing!! Had to send the recipe to everyone it was that good!!

Beer Margaritas

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
I have been making these for a few years and boy are these popular!! The key I found is to mix them and have it sit overnight~much better flavor! As I am not big into strong drinks I only use half the tequila and corona for the beer. Super tasty!!

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
Had leftover pork loin from Christmas dinner so I decided to try fried rice for the first time~Only difference was I used a bag of frozen oriental veggies and processed them in the food processor after they were warmed. Made as directed and added some chopped pork loin. My Chinese food loving daughter LOVED this!! Really an excellent combination and very tasty...a keeper

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
An excellent fast dough!! I needed a fast pizza dough for a last minute dinner decision and tried this, Now as an avid baker I had a very hard time not wanting to let this rise but as many reviews prior have indicated-you do not need to let this rise. I was quite amazed how very good the crust was and how easy it was to handle. A keeper!!

Crab Cakes III

mmmmmm...After viewing Bobby Flay's throwdown with crab cakes I had to make some and tried this recipe. Used two cans of lump crabmeat and added some extra seasoning and these were incredible. Very good even with the smaller amount of crab. A keeper folks!!

Cindi's Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
The first time I made these and it was a learning experience---Must not overfill the wrappers and must roll them pretty tightly with a little water to seal the ends also the oil must be the proper temperature or else they will fry too long and taste greasy (like my first try). After learning from our mistakes the second time we made these, they were great!!!! ..and the coleslaw mix works great!

Overnight Apple Cinnamon French Toast

Very fast and easy dish to prepare. All the ingrediants are usually what one would have stocked in the pantry-The kids enjoyed it but it wasn't one of those dishes that is gone in a flash.

Avocado Stuffed Yams

As previous reviews have said-what a very odd combination. But I thought..I like yams...I like avacado...let's give it a try! Unfortunately I was the only one out of the family who loved these but then again, I am the only one who loves interesting and flavorful foods.

Strawberry Shortcut Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
I had lots of strawberries left over and tried this using the cake mix hint from the previous review (Thanks!!!). My only difference was that I did not have frozen strawberry so I mixed one box of jello with 1/2 c boiling water and 1/2 c cold water-then added that to sliced strawberries. Prepared and baked as directed then topped with cool whip. I cannot tell you how much a hit this was!! Adults and kids alike all enjoyed this--tasted better than any strawberry shortcake!!

Corned Beef Hash

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
My husband is a corned beef hash lover so I gave this a try after St Patrick's Day. I personally am not a fan of corned beef hash but this changed my mind and my husband LOVED this. The beef broth is what adds that "wow" flavor and I HIGHLY recommmend this recipe!!!

Bronco Burger

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2007
Followed this exactly except for the Jalapeno's (didn't have any in the house) and they had a HUGE "wow" factor from the family. My kids said they were the best burger "ever" and my husband, who never cares about the ratings, said I HAD to give a 5 star for these burgers!! Very tasty and we fried up some sweet potato fries for a yummy supper. This one is a keeper!

Mahogany Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
As others have stated-this is a keeper!!! I used boneless breast of chicken cut into stips. Prior to cooking the chicken I drained the sauce/marinade in a saute pan and boiled for 30-40 min untill it reduced to a nice thick glaze-it is imperative that the glaze boil to this thickness or you will not obtain a "wow" taste. Then when the chicken was done I poured that thick yummy sauce over the chicken coating all the pieces. This was a huge hit!!!

Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2007
Made this the first time for our very Irish family of 34 for St Patricks Day. Had seven briskets cooking with six in crockpots and one in the oven (ran out of crockpots) After 8 1/2 hrs in the crockpot we all sat down to dinner but I had left two briskets still in the crockpot as we had too much corned beef. The 8 1/2 hr briskets was a bit salty but pretty good and moist. After dinner and 9 1/2 hrs in the crockpot we sliced the remaining two and what a HUGE difference. The meat was far more flavorful and much more tender-less salty in taste and by far the BEST corned beef we had ever tasted. So readers, learn by my mistake and leave the beef in the crockpot for AT LEAST 9 1/2 hrs- You will not be dissapointed! Yummy

Ricotta Cookies III

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2006
Fabu! Having never made Ricotta cookies I gave these a try and I am so glad I did. The kids LOVED them and they were quite tasty. Opted for the lemon extract in the cookie and lemon in the icing-a bit to much lemon and the icing is VERY sweet. The kids dipped theirs in the icing but I found them much too sweet-and I have BIG sweet tooth! As the previous review stated, I drizzled the icing and that was plenty.
