Decided to give this a try. Followed other users advice and used whipping cream instead of the milk. Even after adding the flour & cream, it was very "soupy". I had a terrible time thickening - but I used Wondra flour and some more cream, and it thickened up nicely. A lot of heat in this recipe, so if you dont like your food too spicy, I would definitely cut out the cayenne all together. Used frozen corn in butter sauce instead of the cobs, and I also added a few sprinkles of Old Bay at the end. After tasting, it was still missing something, so I added some dill and a 1/2 cup of sour cream. Next time I will only use 2 cans of chicken stock, and perhaps it will thicken a bit easier. Still spicy but very yummy!!
