Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
I followed the recipe exactly as it says, and I would say it is an acquired taste. You have to really like parmesan and not mind the smell.

Best shrimp recipe! I have never been a major fan of shrimp, but I made it for my husbnad and not only did he love it, but I liked it a lot as well.

Crispy Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2007
I did not enjoy this recipe. When following the recipe exactly, there was too much oil, not enough taste, and the heat was too high. I tried it a second time and it would still burn. I tried it a third time with the tin foil idea and the potatoes stuck to the foil. I ended up just throwing all three batches away.

Best Lemonade Ever

I was good. I have tasted better homemade lemonade, but I am not sure what it lacks.

B and L's Strawberry Smoothie

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
The smoothie has a really good flavor, except I needed a little more sugar. I didn't have yogurt, so I simply excluded it all together. It turned out great without it.

Oregano Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
My husband and I loved this recipe. He asked for seconds, which is a major sign he liked what I cooked. I will definitely be making this again.

Green Bean Casserole I

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2007
It lacked a little flavor. I don't know if it is me, or if it is the recipe, but for some reason I felt it lacked in comparison to other green bean casseroles I have tasted.

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2007
This was absolutely delicious! I followed the advice of other reviews and I used riccota instead of the cottage cheese. I also used the crushed tomotes with italian seasoning already in it, instead of the regular crushed tomatoes. I made extra tomato sauce simply because when I added the numbers I felt I would be lacking, which I am glad I did. I felt that had I made the original amount I would not of had enough. Plus, I used it on all three layers, besides the one on the bottom. We are cheese freaks, so I added more cheese than the recipe called for.

Chicken Fried Steak I

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2007
It was a pretty good recipe for chicken fried steak. It was a little bland. So after the first try, I seasoned the steaks in creole seasoning. It gave it more flavor.

Sugar Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2006
We loved it! They were not kidding when they said that the mixture needed to be cooked at a high temperature. At first, I cooked it at a mid temperature and it never got to that consistency needed. When I turned the temperature up, it thickened quickly. Thanks for the advice.

G-ma's Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2006
This rice recipe had a strong tomato aroma, and it lacked in flavor. In actuality, I felt it almost had a sour taste to it.

Tortilla Soup II

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2006
excellent recipe! No changes are needed to make this recipe great. Yet, because our family likes things REALLY spicy, I cut up some peppers and threw them in.
