Luscious Slush Punch

my favorite punch recipe so far! made it on Christmas Eve for my family. tastes delish with champagne too.

I was surprised at how good this tasted! I did make a few revisions to the recipe tho. In addition to the can of stewed tomatoes, I added a small can of tomato sauce, pepper and creole seasoning while rice was cooking. I will definitely be making this again!

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

not as perfect as OG's but it was still delicious. i didn't have enough chicken broth so i just added a few cans of water. i also substituted half&half for the heavy cream. a dash or two of garlic salt to each individual bowl made it just right. next time i'll make sure to not drain the sauteed Italian sausage of the oil so that it will have just a tid bit more flavor.

Spaghetti Squash I

DE-LIC-IOUS!! if i could give this recipe 10 stars i would. i followed the suggestion of some other reviewers and (1) substituted 2 tblsp basil pesto for the fresh basil and (2) substituted a can of italian stewed tomatoes (i chopped them) for the fresh tomatoes..other than that i followed the recipe to a T!

Mild Cheesy Chicken Enchiladas

my husband LOVED this recipe. i opted to not add the olives or tomatoes on top of the dish, used the Mexican Blend cheese instead of regular chedder, and didn't put the melted cheese and sour cream mixture on top of the sauce - instead just put the enchilada sauce and topped with tons of cheese. it's a very easy dish to prepare. will def add to my list of recipes that i rotate.

Penne Pasta with Spinach and Bacon

didn't follow the recipe to a "T" but is still really good. added more garlic, didn't use as much bacon, used a small pack of frozen spinach and added it to the bacon and tomato mixture while it was still in the pan, and topped with parmesan cheese. i don't feel bad eating this dish since I'm trying to lose my pregnancy weight..tastes pretty healthy yet I still get the pieces of bacon in some bites. yumm!!

recipe is very easy to follow. i would have thought that using italian dressing mix would give it a lot of flavor but it didnt. would have rather used my salmon for another dish.

Chicken Parmigiana

one of the best pasta dishes i've come across!! i used whole pieces of provlone cheese and dry Parmesan cheese and it turned out perfect. i also seasoned my bread crumbs with garlic powder, garlic salt, pepper, and parsley flakes. while the chicken is in the oven try making buttered garlic noodles as someone else mentioned. it's really easy to make and it gives this dish a little extra kick.
