Black Bean Brownies

Crazy good! I used what I had on hand so oil was Coconut oil, maple syrup instead of sugar - 1/2 cup, 1 tsp of baking powder as recommended, and as the substitution of syrup for sugar made the mixture a bit runny I added some almond flour till the consistency was right. These are the most delicious brownies - not chewey but cake-like, moist and heavenly. I can't believe how easy they were to make. Can't wait to see how they are, cold, tomorrow. Thank you SOOOOO much!

Herbed Dumplings

World's Best Scones! From Scotland to the Savoy to the U.S.

Easy and as they should be. I skipped the raisins and also used plain yogurt instead of sour cream, and buttermilk instead of the milk. You make me look good, thanks!

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

I took the advice of another reviewer and used the spice cake mix instead of adding spices to the yellow mix. Also used 2 small eggs and a little oil. Great muffins - tons of compliments.

Homemade Tomato Sauce II

Couldn't be much simpler to make and tastes fresh and delicious. It is very like the sauce my late Italian mother in law used to make and she was a fantastic cook.

Best Lemonade Ever

Couldn't be better. I used Splenda instead of sugar for one cup, and a half a cup of regular sugar to cut calories. It is delicious. This is what I'll be doing with 85% of my lemons from now on.

Sauce is great, but both son and I preferred it over chicken cooked separately (sautee'd or baked) rather than cooked in the sauce.

Key Lime Pie VIII

Really good flavor and definitely easy. I used Key Limes from my tree (hey, it's Florida) and it was the perfect degree of tartness. I think it will be better with Graham crust next time. Also, it's hard to get zest without pith from the limes. Very good pie, thanks!
