Taters!

I love potatoes. Baked, fried, shredded, mashed, however I can get them. So this month I was excited to work with Ore-Ida. I'm a Tater Tot lover. They are my go to frozen potato. I do let the kids get french fries sometimes but mostly we get tots. Yummy. And honestly my favorite brand is Ore-Ida. They just do a really good job with their potatoes.

So the first thing I did with Ore-Ida was Cheesy fries. So good. I used Ore-Ida's Simply Olive Oil and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. These are really tasty and the first time I've tried this product of theirs. And super easy. Bake the fries as directed and at the end sprinkle with your favorite cheese. I used Colby for this one.

No recipe but here's the Tater Tots. Served with Jan's Pretzel Dogs. Oh such a tasty dinner. And made the kids and my brother very happy. Yum!

I had leftover tater tots so the next day I made Waynesboroughs. I love using tots in my breakfast burritos. They are a great way to boost up your breakfast burritos/tacos.

And last but not least I made a breakfast casserole. Featuring Ore-Ida Tater Tots again! Potato and Cheese Breakfast Casserole. I added extra cheese and bell peppers. Tasty.

Check out Ore-Ida's website for product info and recipes.

About Me
I am a stay at home mom with three beautiful kids. I love cooking and I am always looking for something new to cook for my family. My husband was thrilled when I found this website cause I have a tendancy to buy any cookbook I see!
My favorite things to cook
I love baking. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons because I can always have something in the oven. I also love crockpot dinners as well.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holiday cooking is the best. I love cooking the dessert my grandmother taught me how to make when I turned 14. Every year at Christmas and Thanksgiving I can hear her telling me what to do and how to do it, I can also feel her smack when I stirred the wrong way! Hehe.
My cooking triumphs
I have always been afraid of frying foods after a couple disastrous attempts at it when I was younger, my fingers always seemed to go into the oil, I have finally started trying frying foods. I am just a lot more cautious. Now I am trying to figure out muffins and pies, and different types of deserts. I think I have finally figured out cheesecake (yay!me).
My cooking tragedies
One Thanksgiving I was making Ham in the Slow Cooker. About an hour before we were supposed to eat my son asks "Mom did you want the Crockpot plugged in?" Whoops! We had a bunch of yummy sides though :) Now every time I make something in the slow cooker my family asks if I plugged it in :)
