Everyone loved! Omitted raisins, but will make w/them next time, too! Delicious! Used cream cheese frosting 2 recipe from this site and everyone loved it! Even those that don't care for cream cheese frosting!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2012
Used ground turkey, diced tomatoes w/chiles (definitely!) and added about 5 oz. spaghetti sauce (saved the rest for another dinner - worth it; trust me), followed the rest of recipe as is. Delicious! Everyone loved! The best green peppers ever.

I made this w/2 boxes of vanilla pudding (didn't have butterscotch)...delicious!! Oh, I didn't have any nuts, either. Really good! My husband loved it!

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
Delicious! Made this according to recipe, but used less butter in the pan at the end because I didn't have room in my pan!! Didn't need it. Tasted great! Thx for a great recipe that's a "do again".

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
I followed the recipe. Because I was cooking for dinner, I used cubed/diced frozen potatoes. I had a leftover ham, which I diced and probably put in more than 8 oz. My family loved this dish! The leftovers the next day were great! My oldest son ate some for breakfast before school and my husband had some for lunch! It's a winner!

Fisherman's Quick Fish

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
I followed the recipe. Had a hard time finding the creamy Italian dressing until my husband suggested looking in the dairy section of the grocery store. I found one there by Marzetti (Sweet Italian, which is creamy), and was delicious! It only took 1/4 cup to marinate the fish (cod) completely. I followed other users suggestions and used my food processor to crush the potato chips and then at the end added in the cheese to quickly blend. Easy! This made thee best topping ever! My entire family LOVED this dinner! My sons normally require tartar sauce w/their fish, but this was so delicious, they didn't need any! Definitely a do again...so few ingredients, so easy, so quick! A great week night meal!

Pierogi Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2011
I really wanted to love this recipe because all of the ingredients in it my entire family loves! However, all of them together just didn't work for any of us! I followed the recipe, too. One son thought it needed more bacon...I thought the cheese on the top layer of noodles made the top too crisp. I don't know; it was way too much work for a dinner that was basically a disappointment and for some reason just didn't come together. I won't make it again.

Baked Spaghetti I

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
I made this and followed the recipe. I'm sorry, but I don't think it was that great and my family agreed (they're not picky eaters). We usually LOVE recipes on this site that are 4+ stars, so we were disappointed with this one. It was kind of dry. There are better spaghetti bake recipes.

Apple Cake V

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2011
This is a great cake! I followed the recipe exactly, except I added 2 tsp. cinn. That's it. The 1st day, it WAS a little oily, but after that, it kept the cake quite moist; it didn't become a dry cake. Next time, I'll try suggestions of applesauce/oil, but if I don't have applesauce on hand, I'll make it again w/just the oil. The icing is AWESOME!! Everyone I shared this cake with commented on how delicious the icing was. I would not make it w/out doing the icing because it gives it that special, unique, homemade touch.

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2011
My family loved this dinner. I made exactly according to the recipe, which I like to do the 1st time I try one. Next time, I'll use 1/2 as much butter, even though we are butter LOVERS, because it was greasy and unnecessary. The flavor was AWESOME and it was an easy dish! As leftovers the next day, the grease hardened at the top of the dish, I scraped it off and after reheating, the flavor was fantastic (again) w/out butter, so it really was not adding much. My family said its a "do again dinner" and so simple!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2011
My family really enjoys this recipe. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is they don't care for the dumplings. So, I use Jiffy Mix, which is the blue box & milk!) and they love that. I've made this dinner multiple times now and its a hit.

Pretzel Turtles

These were super easy and fabulous! My 12 year old son helped me to make them. We used rolos which were the perfect candy for the pretzels that were called "snaps".

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

These are the best! I had another recipe I used for years and now I'll use this one to replace it! It's our new favorite cookie for Christmas. I did have to make more cinnamon/sugar mixture, though!!

Jennie's Heavenly Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
Made 2 changes from necessity: used plain cream cheese and substituted chicken broth for the wine. Dinner was awesome! My two sons loved it and my husband said it's a "do again"! We eat a lot of chicken recipes - this was easy. I threw the chicken in the crock pot 1/2 frozen, too! Thanks!

Fruity Couscous Salad

This is an awesome dish! It's different - it's sweet and it's got that onion, too! I love this in the summer when I need a cold salad that everyone hasn't had before! Fantastic!

Farmer's Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
I have made this at least 9 times now! Started out following recipe exactly, which is great! Now, I also put cut up cooked bacon all over the top for a meatier recipe and add cooked sausage to the ham! I put it in a big 9x11 dish w/more eggs and it feeds a crowd! My entire family asks for this at yearly get togethers (I serve w/fruit salad). You can do so much w/this - stick to recipe or spice it up, etc.! It's fabulous! Thank you!

Creamy Potato Pork Chop Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
My entire family LOVED this (2 boys, ages 12 & 14 plus hubby). The only things I did different were minor - I used cream of mushroom soup, my cheese was a mixture type and I threw in some regular onion (by mistake!). I can't say enough how yummy this was! Thank you!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
Very good! Like so many others, I used chicken broth instead of water and I also threw in a few sliced carrots and raw potatoes to make it a bit heartier (not a lot, though). For my dumplings, I used the Jiffy mix recipe on the box (which is Jiffy mix & milk) because we love them & threw them in about an hour before we were ready to eat. My husband loved it and took it to work the next day, too! Delicious! My sons also enjoyed it! We'll make this again!
