Light Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 9, 2007
I love this recipe. My kids love it and so do all the neighbor kids. The only change I made is to use 1 cup of chocolate chips instead of just half a cup. I also used milk chocolate chips because thats my preference.

Mom's Meat Loaf

Reviewed: May 9, 2007
I really liked this recipe. It was easy to make, and I had most of the ingredients on hand allready. I didnt have sage and so I used dried oregano instead. I also added some taco seasoning. I dont have worshire sauce, so I used A1 steak sauce. The sauce ended up tasting really good. And my whole family liked it.

Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever

Reviewed: May 11, 2007
I just made these cookies. I think they taste good. I went off somebody elses review and used 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup white sugar. I also kind of went scant on both cups of sugar, because a lot of people said it was too sweet. For me it was kind of hard to stir the cookie dough, but all in all the cookies turned out pretty good.

Beef Enchiladas II

Reviewed: May 11, 2007
I am giving this recipe a 4 only because it doesnt call for any salt or seasoning in the meat. I put salt and pepper and taco seasoning. I used corn tortillas because that is the only way I eat enchiladas. I liked it that it said to put 1/4 c. of sauce on bottum of pan, but honestly, i wouldn't use packaged sause or canned. I think homemade is the best. For this recipe I used Red Enchillada Sauce, submitted by Sara. My enchilladas smelled so good my neighbor asked what I cooked that smelled so good, and these were a lot of fun to make for me!

German Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: May 12, 2007
This recipe was simple for me to make. I think it needed more salt. I will continue to make this recipe. Im very pleased that my two year old son liked it and asked for more. We ate them all, so that means they were good!*** update*** I never made them again, so I guess we didn't like them THAT much.

Maple Pancakes

Reviewed: May 13, 2007
I really liked this recipe because it was simple to make. The pancakes turned out really good. I will use this recipe from now on. The only thing i did different was that I didn't put maple syrup in. I dont have real maple syrup, so I just put in a tablespoon of sugar.

I really like these mashed potatos. I was looking for a basic recipe just so I could put the right amount of butter and milk. It turned out perfect, and I got no complaints from my boyfriend. This was exactly the recipe I was looking for.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
I've never made Buffalo Chicken before. My boyfriend only likes breast meat, so I used chicken breast rather than wings. I used Tabasco sauce, and really liked it. To make the fried chicken though, I did it the way I usually do fried chicken- coat with seasoned flour, then egg-milk mixture, and then back in the flour miwture again. I liked it better that way. I will be making this recipe again. ***I just wanted to update my review. I love the tabasco sauce flavor but it is so hot!! So I decideed to use half bbq sauce and half tabasco sauce. My boyfriend loved it and wanted more the next day, but I realized I had used up all the bbq sauce. So I mixed ketsup and brown sugar and a squirt of mustard. I combined it with the butter nd some garlic powder. I am telling you IT WAS THE BEST CHICKEN I EVER MADE!!! I wil make it this way from now on! And my boyfriend could not get enough! ;)

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2007
OMG! Theese are SO GOOD! I did not have any pecans, so I had to omitt them this time. The only wird thing about this recipe was that I felt I needed to add water. One cup of butter and the two eggs was not enough liquid for me.Other than that, and the fact that this recipe makes so many cookies I had to share with just about everybody I know, the recipe is great!

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2007
I loved theese meatloaves!! I added some sauteed onion, as somebody suggested. I also added a 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/4 a teaspoon of black pepper. I was not sure if I would like the sauce , but the mustard made it a little tangy , and that was ok with me!! I added a little black pepper to the sauceas well. I love having individual loaves too. Very cute, and fun. Will be making this recipe again.**Even the leftover mini meatloaves are good. As a mother of two little ones sometimes I need something fast. The meat loaves were not unapealing to me like some left overs are.

Wow!! Rich, decadent, chocolate! This was not as hard as I thought it would be. But since it was my first time I was a little nervouse. I ended up not swiriling with the knife enough, so next time I will do more swirling. Other than that theese are really good treats!

Chocolate Mint Milkshake

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2007
This recipe truly is the best. I loved it. Yy kids also loved it. The only thing I have to say is that it is hard to do just a drop of the mint extract, and too much is overpowering. I also wonder if I bought the wrong extract. The bottle said peppermint and speramint. I think I should have bought only peppermint extract. The speramint flavor was a little strange to me in the milkshake.

Blueberry Cornmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2007
I'm not really sure what to think of theese muffins. They do taste pretty good. I think next time I will not put the blueberries in until I've allready mixed the wet and dry ingridients. My muffins looked kind of blue. Also, 1 cupof blueberries was too much for me in this particular recipy. I might try them again with a few changes.
