Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
Super easy! I used frozen breasts and cooked a little longer with great results. Customized mine with 3 ribs celery chopped, some cubed potato, carrot chunks, and replaced 1 can cream chicken with cream mushroom. It was awesome and the 3 boys at my house (dad, 4 yrs, and almost 2) loved it and gave rave reviews. Very creamy, not much "sauce" as it was not soupy but very tasty (although heavy on the biscuit). I may add 1 extra soup next time for more sauce.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Not joking when I say best taste and texture of pancakes. Very moist and fluffy but very soft and not bready. Great flavor to these as well.

Southwestern Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
THis was a great jumping off recipe for adders. I also tweaked my for our tastes. I used a few less tortillas and used jack and cheddar combo. I added corn to mine as well as a thin layer of green salsa as we like things hotter. I also added chopped onion and instead of adding turkey like other reviewers, I added a can of pinto beans. It was awesome! My kids loved it and it was great for lunches the next day.

Baja Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2010
Awesome recipe, so simple too! my kids loved it (2 & 4). We loved the fresh taste and all the flavor. I did change a few things. We used leftover rainbow trout we had baked and add some garlic and onion to the sauce with just a dash of cayenne for some spice. We also used broccoli slaw instead of cabbage because that was what we had. But overall a great flavor!

Bread Machine Challah I

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2011
Very good flavor and texture, mine turned out a little dark but that may just be my machine. Also, you do not get the nice crust of challah in a bread machine, but who cares when you can get challah w so little work?

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
Very yummy! My kids wolfed them down. FOr my alterations, I did apple cider vinegar and whole wheat pastry flour. Great mix and made very filling pancakes. We also make smallish pancakes (like 5 inches) and we had more than 6 pancakes. Just a note, these pancakes are very thick, so def listen to others about not thinning but just spreading around w spoon.

Meatball and Pasta Soup

Reviewed: May 29, 2013
I made this recipe but did not make meatballs (was working with frozen hamburger) so I just browned hamburger, added carrots and zucchini, and finished with parm. Was so good! We loved it. So good with fresh bread.
