Justin's Hoosier Daddy Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2007
A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!!!!! I have been looking for a delicious but quick and easy type of chili to make and this is the one! I did follow some other suggestions by substituting beer for the chicken broth and adding 1 can of kidney and pinto beans. The pinto beans that I bought had jalapenos added which helped kick the flavor up. I made a big pot of this chili and it was gone in minutes! Thank you Justin's daddy; this is a definite keeper!!!! : >

Amusement Park Cornbread

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2007
I am a true believer that you should follow a recipe in order to give it an accurate rating and I did just that. This cornbread was so dry that the only way I (I say I because everyone else in my family only ate 1 bite) could eat it was by dipping it into the chili that I had prepared. I don't know what went wrong but I will not make this again.

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
This recipe would have been a lot better if I had followed the recipe exactly. I read the other reviews and I added cream of chicken & cream of mushroom soup, (which was a good suggestion) but instead of using boneless skinless chicken breasts, I used whole chicken leg quarters. I think that is where I went wrong. My family absolutely LOVED it but I ended up taking a few bites then resorting to some leftovers. I will try this recipe again but for now on I think I will start follwing the recipes exactly and then make my own judgements.

Chicken Spaghetti II

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2007
Everyone else's review states that this dish was too cheesy but for me it was entirely TOO SALTY! I broiled the chicken and noodles with chicken flavored buillon cubes.....maybe that's where I went wrong. I will be trying this recipe again simply because it was so darn easy!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2007
I made this for Thanksgiving last year and I received mixed reviews about it. I don't know if preparing it the night before made a difference or not but next time I will serve it fresh from the bowl. I, on the other hand, absolutely loved it. I was so proud of myself for finally stepping out of my ritual of using my famous Stove Top. :) Definitely a 5 star recipe and yes, I did omit the turkey liver.

Jagerschnitzel

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2006
My husband absolutely loved this recipe. He was stationed in Germany before and he always talked about how this particular dish was his favorite. He took leftovers to work the next day bragging on my cooking!!! The kids and I didn't care for it too much but I would make it again just for him (and so I can hear him brag) Thanks!
