German Chocolate Cake III
I made the recipe BUT left out adding the whipped egg whites. I wanted a more dense cake made in a sheet pan as I needed 250 pieces for a school function. It did fall just a little but after adding the pecan coconut topping and drizzling chocolate on top it turned out just as planned. Delicious.

Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic
This is absolutely the best!! One hint.. sweet potatoes have alot of natural sugars so if you roast them at 450 for 40+ minutes they will become very soft; the outside dark and be very sweet. If you use a potato ricer it removes all of the strings and then taste prior to adding any sugar. The 1/4 - 1/2 c. depending on the quantity of potatoes will be plenty. ENJOY! I promise they will come back for seconds.

Grandmother's Famous Cranberry Bread
I have been looking for a dense and intensely cranberry bread reminiscent of one my mom made. I doubled the flour; sugar; butter; juice and zest and eggs; coarsely chopped a bag of fresh cranberries. I filled a 4 loaf stoneware pan sprayed with Pam 3/4 full and had great results. The texture turned out great and the taste is wonderful. It will make a great gift as it holds together well and slices beautifully.
