Fry Bread Tacos II

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2007
I actually fried the bread in my deep fryer and they puffed up in the middle. So what i did was cut them in half and stuffed everything inside them so that they were like gorditas. A big hit!

Chicken and Red Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2008
I followed the recipe exactly and we all loved it! Even the kids were wanting 2nds! I was hesitant because I dont like the taste of wine but the brown sugar toned it down. Very yummy!

Aimee's Quick Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2006
I tried this the other night for 2 picky kids and a picky boyfriend. I only made one piece for each because I didnt want left overs if it was bad. Surprisingly, the random mix of ingredients went well together and everyone was asking if there was more! It was pretty good. I mixed the honey dijon and the teriyaki sauce together also. Chicken was VERY moist and not too salty like some other reviews.

Pizza Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2006
I tweaked this a little but letting the kids pick out a fun shape of noodle to use and I only used hamburger. It came out like a lazagna minus the Ricotta mix. It was very good tho. My only complaint is how many dishes it dirties up.

Barbecue Beef Cups

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2007
Tried these for lunch today and I was pleasantly surprised. Im not much of a "covered in BBQ sauce" type person but I think with the cheese and the bread, it offsets it. A couple reviews stated that they became dry but mine didn't at all. The only thing i had a problem with was getting the biscuits to stay stretched out enough to come up to the top of the pan. You can also use tuna cans to make bigger ones.

I tried this for dinner tonite. Came out really moist to the point where it almost squirted at me when i cut into it. you can also cut the chicken into strips and make them like nuggets. I used sweet and sour to dip my chicken in and i also used brown rice in my steamer. Very good!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2007
Reading the other reviews i decided to use 1.5 cups flour and i cooked them for 14 minutes and they came out fine. They seemed a little too oatmealy for my taste. But they were very good. My boyfriend tells me oh I hate oatmeal. But he took one anyways, and then another, and another.... so I guess they were good!

Beef and Bean Chimichangas

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2007
I changed up the recipe a bit since I am allergic to beans. I fried up the hamburger meat, added garlic powder , onion powder and chili powder to taste. then i just put the meat, then some taco bell hot sauce packets (kids request) and monterey jack cheese. rolled it up, basted with butter and baked it. i garnished it with some lettuce and a spoon of sour cream. my kids loved it and i didnt expect them to!

Italian Style Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
This is a great recipe! Even my boyfriend who's italian, said that they tasted just like grandmas. The only thing that I would change is the mixture made WAY too much. Id cut the parm and crackers in half and for some reason, it took my chops 1.5 hrs to cook, not 30-40 minutes.

Caribbean Chicken with Pineapple-Cilantro Rice

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2011
I also used I bit more brown sugar as it seemed to be a bit strong in taste and I also cooked my rice in a rice steamer and used half pineapple juice and half water and it came out a bit too sticky. Over all the chicken was pretty good. Could be better with some tweaking tho.

Jamaican Beef Patties

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2007
Maybe I did it wrong but it was way too dry. The flavor was good but just needed an extra little something to make it not so dry.

Gina's Lemon Pepper Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2007
I wasnt too impressed with the recipe. Was a bit too bland for me. It does take more time to cook then what it calls for.
