Sausage Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2008
I thought these were great. I used pineapple cream cheese and they flew off the table at the last football party! The combination of sweet, salty and heat went really well together! I didn't use sausage at all.

Runzas II (Bierocks)

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2008
I am Czech and we do this a little differently. Our family uses hambuger and german sausage (if you can't find that we use bratwurst and take off the casing). I use seasoning salt, pepper, minced garlic and celery seed. I also use Velveta cheese as it melts the creamiest. My family absolutely LOVES these. Love the idea of using slaw mix!!! What a time saver!

Stovetop Bratwurst Dinner

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
This gets a 4 for me baecause it was a great BASIC recipe. I made a few changes, like using evaporated milk, 1/4 onion, some garlic, 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper and about 1/2 tsp of worsteshire sauce. My fiance thought it was a gourmet meal! Thanks so much for the idea!!!

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2007
I made this exactly as written exept I put thinly cliced ham on my chicken breasts. It was wonderful. Much like a cordon bleu but much less hassle. My boyfriend isn't a huge chicken eater and he devoured it. Thanks!

Reuben Sandwich II

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2007
This is a great recipe. I made a boiled dinner for St. Patty's day so I sauteed up chopped corned beef with some of the onion and potato from the dinner. So it was almost like a hash. I then used margerine to butter my bread (which worked just fine) and then put some of my "hash" mix on the first down side and tehn 2 slices of swiss cheese topped it with the next piece of bread! It was FANTASTIC!!!!! Thank you so much!

Used eggroll wrappers and these were phenomenal! Guess they'd be eggrolls then, but still, excellent.

Sausage Gravy I

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
I am a B&G conessiuer and this is a pretty gopod recipe. I use 1 TBSL of butter instead of the bacon grease. I use maple sausage. I also use a can of evaporated milk and 2 cups of regular milk. Also add a pinch of garlic powder and a pinch of cayeene pepper. Maybe not so much downhome but definitely GOURMET!
