I am a former elementary school teacher. Before I had my daughter I taught first and second grade for ten years. Now I am a stay at home mom but do teach one day a week for the school district working with students on indpendent study. Italian Meatball and Cheese Tortellini Soup
Great recipe! I made it for our families Christmas soup supper and everyone loved it!! I put it all in a crock-pot for a few hours and then just cooked and added the tortellini before we were ready to eat. I left the kale out because it just didn't appeal to me. Will definitely make it again!

Easy Homemade Chili
Very good and easy!!! After I browned the ground beef and onion, I put all the ingredients in the crock-pot for several hours. I served it with Frito corn chips, lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and cheese on top. My family loved it! Great on a cold winter night!

Slow Cooker Carnitas
It was OK. Very tender meat but next time I would leave out the cinnamon. My family did not care for the flavoring.
