Best Strawberry Daiquiri

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2012
Used 1/2 the recipe and replaced fresh strawberries for a whole banana. Amazing. Hint: Bananas are best over ripe!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
My only negative was in my bad choice to making only 1/3 the recipe (one pan). Everyone loved it, and it was gone before my husband could taste it. All found it to be moist, and delicious, and asked me to make it for Christmas with a change in the recipe...make much more.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
As you make this turkey, don't be shocked by the strong flavors before it enters the oven. Once the aroma fills your home, you will build the confidence you have made the right choice. This particular recipe was such a hit, I don't think I will use anything else for quite some time. Very juicy bird, very flavorful gravy was made and everyone kept taking tidbits off the turkey well after dinner was finished. Enjoy, as we did.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2008
I loved this recipe, but my daughter, who hates cream cheese tasted the frosting while the cake was baking. She hated it, so I increased the powdered sugar 1 cup and added 3/4 cup milk, similar to the recipe on the back of the sugar box. It sweetened up enough for her, and still had that great cheesecake frosting flavor I love.

Red Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2008
Very strong Garlic!! Make it for those of you who love the stuff. Everyone ate it, though. I'd pull away most of the garlic, myself...but it was very good.

Quick Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2007
I didn't like the Broccoli, but the chicken was ok, I thought the sauce was a little over the top in the fat department. I probably won't make it again, unless I can find a less fattening alternative...

Waikiki Cornbread

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2007
I made this fantastic moist, fluffy and sweet recipe last night for 3 people. We had 1/2 the pan left over. When I woke up this morning I planned on having a piece with breakfast, but there was none left. :( I will make this often!!!!

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2007
Since the first time I took down this recipe, I have made it 4 times. All four times were a hit with family and friends. These are biscuits you can bring to the next bbq or pot luck. Easiest thing I've made to date. Thank you!!!

Fantastic flavor and colors. Looked like something you'd get in a great restaurant, but YOU get the rave reviews. Everyone loved it, even a 2nd grader my son was babysitting. He finished the whole bowl. Great recipe!

Beer Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2007
Caution, I used low carb beer and my recipe was horrible. My goof. I thought it was too strong in flavor and not fluffy. probably due to the beer I used.

Simply Traditional Lasagna

I was surprised by the flavor of this dish. Very unique and spicey...in a good way. Husband hates lasagna, but loves this. Everyone had 2nds, no leftovers. Family rated the dish an 8 or 9 from 1-10. Great dish!!

Brandy Flamed Peppercorn Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2006
I must have used the wrong grade of sherry, because my recipe did not flame. The flavor is pretty good, but it was so tender!! I will play around with the recipe and let you know if I come up with something better...

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2006
Since making this dish for my fairly picky husband 4 weeks ago, he has requested a replay 3 times. He actually gets excited when I make it for him. This is the only recipe for chicken enchilada recipe that leaves no left-overs. Even the kids loved it.
