Banana Muffins II
These make an excellent base for a banana muffin, and are easy to customize for whatever flavours you like. I substituted the butter for melted coconut oil. I also added some crushed walnuts, coconut, cinnamon, and vanilla. Tasty!

Chili Cream Cheese Frosting
This is delicious! I kind of had to play around with it since I didn't have ancho chilis and I wanted a bit more spice, but that's just my personal preference. The idea of this sounds a bit odd, but is genius. It's very tasty. I used to to frost chocolate pumpkin cake form this site, and I must use it on more baked goods now (or even by itself). Yum!

Grandma Johnson's Scones
I'm a sucker for anything with sour cream in it, so I was excited to try this recipe. Instead of raisins I used diced apple which I browned in butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar and toffee bits. I also substituted half the sugar for brown sugar and added some vanilla and pumpkin pie spice mix (nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, etc). I put in the first batch and realized they were going to be huge, so I cut the second half smaller and managed to get 20 scones in all. Delicious! Even before I added my 'toppings' I was tempted to eat the plain mix.
