Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
I followed this recipe exactly and did not alter a thing (excpet I had to cook for an additional half hour). I thought this was simply okay. I love pork and typically love any dish with red wine so I figured this would be a homerun; however, I was disapointed. I should have made some adjustments based on other reviews. I am sorry to say that I won;t make it again.

Kickin' Collard Greens

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2008
My first time ever making collards and I thought this recipe was great! I used salt pork instead of the bacon, but it was delicious and very easy...thanks

White Wine Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2008
I thought this soup was delicious. I made a few small changes...I used chicken broth instead of water, almost doubled the liquid or it wouldn't have been "soupy", used chicken breasts instead of a whole chicken, and added some crushed red pepper flakes for heat. This recipe is very versatile and can be adjusted for any vegetables you have, but the wine is what makes it stand out. Thanks for sharing, it was great for a cold Sunday.

Lemon Pepper Shrimp with Mustard

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2007
I thought this was very good and the flavors (though appearing to be a strange combination when read originally) went very well together. I did not find it over powering and will make it again as my husband really enjoyed it as well. I doubled the garlic and lemon pepper as I always do.

Kitty Litter Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2006
This is absolutley hilarious and a great idea. It wasn't difficult to make but it did take a bit of time, but was worth it as it looks so real! I used a bit less pudding than stated but made no other changes. It won first prize at a Halloween Potluck at work for Most Original and tasted good too. Thanks for sharing.

Lentil and Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2006
I thought this soup was fantastic. Simple to make, tastes great, and is perfect for fall weather. I served it with fresh bread and needed nothing more. I will be sharing this recipe with others. The only changes I made were to use a full pound of mild sausage and more chicken broth in place of the water. Thanks for sharing!

Becky's Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2006
I prepared this for a baby shower this past weekend and thought it was great! Next time, I will make it the day before so it has time to let the flavors meld. Great recipe!

Banana Bread I

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2006
I thought this recipe was fantastic. I love to cook, but I am not a baker. It was super-easy and tasted wonderful. I also added the cinnamon, vanilla, and 1/2 c. of brown sugar. I only baked it for 45 minutes and it was perfect.

Tuna Melts

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2006
Pretty tasty...I liked the amount of onion, but used too little mayo and will use the recommended amount next time. Nothing fancy or spectacular, but an easy and simple change of pace from the regular tuna melt.

Creole Onion Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2006
This was pretty good...I love onion soup and was very excited to try this twist. It wasn't quite as good as I thought it would be, but I will make it again.

Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2006
These were a hit at my cocktail party. I thought they were a bit bland and needed some sort of dipping sauce, but they were the first appetizer gone. That means they were a crowd pleaser! I will cut down on the cheese next time as it was a bit hard to mix.

Aaahh! Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2006
So simple and so comforting. As noted by others, I added one half of a large onion, 2 TB minced garlic, and at least 2 more cups of water. A big hit that I will make again.
