Cinnamon-Curry Tuna Salad

I followed this recipe to a "T". The cinnamon flavor is overpowering. I decided to let the flavors "marry" overnight to see if the cinnamon flavor would dissipate a little, but it was even worse.

These are awesome! The only thing, though, is that the batter was so liquidy, there was no way to shape them. So, I measured them out with a small ice cream scoop & we sprinkled sugar on top. So soft & moist - our new favorite!

Awesome Roast Beef

Hudson's Baked Tilapia with Dill Sauce

This had great flavor. Next time I will use twice as much cajun seasoning, but I like spicy food. We only used half the sauce, though. I'm definitely making this one again!

Saffron Rice

This is a great way to showcase the saffron. I don't like the flavor of butter, so I sauteed my onions in extra virgin olive oil. I didn't bother with the food coloring - it's very appealing with the fresh, green parsley in it. I also substituted chicken broth in place of water.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Salmon Patties I

This is a great basic recipe. To keep it really moist, I like to put in about 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella in the mix. YUM!

Spicy Sweet Potato and Coconut Soup

This was very unusual for my taste. I wasn't sure if I liked it until about the 4th spoonful. Then, I finally felt the heat in the back of my mouth. Then, it made me want to keep eating it. It's always nice to try new things.

Russian Mushroom and Potato Soup

SMACK! This was awesome! It's my new favorite potato soup - I've made it twice already! As a side note - I used my immersion blender to blend up about half of the potatoes like another reviewer did. That's just how I like it. FABULOUS! THANKS BUNCHES!

Ribs Fantastic

3 hours was too long - my ribs burnt. But, I'm still giving this 4 stars because the sauce itself was delicious. I will use the sauce again - but most likely on chicken instead. Thanks!

Simmered Swiss Steak

Cheddar Bacon Hamburgers

Fabulous! I added liquid smoke, like another person who rated this - thanks! It really made this a stand-out! I never cared for horseradish before, but I really liked it with this! I also mixed a little horseradish with my mayo for the burger bun. Thanks! I've made this twice in one week - that's how great it is!

Asian Tuna Patties

Pretty good flavor. Only takes about 3 minutes per side to cook - I did the 5 minutes recommended & they started to burn before I realized it - watch it closely as you cook it. I also made the peanut butter noodles recipe from this site to go with this & it was so filling and satisfying. Will definitely make again! Thanks!
