Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2011
I made these the other day to take to a play date. It was my first try at making scones and they turned out great. The moms and kids couldn't stop eating them. I did half the batch chocolate chips and half cranberry orange. I am excited to try other version and know they will become a regular around our house. Thanks for sharing.

French Baguettes

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2011
This was my firs try at making bread. I thought it turned out great. I even made it without a bread machine or kitchen aide. Also I used half whole wheat flour and half regular. I know with time and experience it will only get better. Thanks for this great and easy recipe. I know I will use it often.

Tofu Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
suprisingly good. I was given some tofu and had no idea what to do with it. I tried a few recipes and most ended up in the garbage. This one however was a keeper. Even my husband said you couln't tell it was in there. I did add lots of extra seasoning to try to cover the taste of the tofu and I guess it worked.

I really enjoy this recipe. I have made it a lot and it is always gone so fast. I try to freeze half for later and even then it is yummy. I do add white chocolate chips for a little treat and eveyone always likes it.

It wasn't my favorite. I wouldn't call it a latte but for kids it is fine.

Easy Morning Glory Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
I love this recipe. I make it with ww flour and it is great. I add pumpkin and white chocolte chips always and sometimes when I have them I will add zucchine. I figured more veggies the better. My husband couldn't believe what was in them when I told him. He loves them. I "chop" all the veggies in my blender pretty fine so there aren't any big chuncks. It makes it easier and quicker. Thanks for sharing
