Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
I made this as one of my Christmas main course meals and it was wiped out in a matter of minutes! Even people who were wary of spinach loved this.I did take the advice of other reviewers, and sauteed the chicken, and the spinach and mushrooms separately. Thanks for this recipe- will be making again as I really didnt get my fair share!

Deviled Eggs

This is my tried and tested, every party appetizer! It is very good! The vinegar and sugar are the secret ingredients I think! You just cannot stop eating these!

Shrimpcargot

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
My guests loved this appetizer! Looks very sophisticated though very easy to put together. The only thing I would do when I make this again is use a baking tray that has holes in it so the mushroom liquid can drain away. I had to keep taking the tray out to siphon off the liquid that accumulated during baking.

Chicken and Sun-Dried Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
This was very good! I followed the recipe to the T- marinated and grilled the chicken before I shredded it, and mixed into the topping. I refrigerated it until I needed to serve the next day. I used French sticks which I lightly toasted on one side in the oven before topping off, and then popped back into the oven again for a few more minutes. The feta cheese, sund reid tomatoes, and the Italian dressing add a nice punch to the mix. I laid out two trays of these for my guests and they were all gone by the end of the night. This is a very good appetizer for large crowds- easy to make too!

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
I'm rating this 4, but it may be 5. This is because they tasted great when I fried them but turned cold when I took them to a picnic and the coconut coating had lost its crunch. But when I reheated them at home, they were yummy again.

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
I had to scale this up, but the sauce ended up with way too much liquid that I had to evaporate off. And finally the noodles stung of ginger!

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
Great chicken. I followed someone else's review, and marinaded the chicken in buttermilk and salt, garlic and papriks for a night. They turned out very juicy on in the inside. I took these to a picnic, and people liked them, but the coating had gone a bit soft. Next time, I'll try eating them straight off the stove!

These brownies turned out very chewy. Everyone liked them. I may try use a little less sugar the next time, or leave out the frosting.

Grandma's Gingersnap Cookies

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
These were very snappy cookies! Perfect with a cup of tea. I followed the recipe exactly except I used baking powder instead of soda. They came out well-crinkled. I will need to practice more to get the right size!

These were very good. I played around with different hot sauces to achieve the taste I wanted. I also rubbed some salt into the wings before deep-frying.

Way too sweet, though I added plenty of paprika! Also, it must have been the oats, but was very squishy.I had too many left over from a party-noone went near them!

A great party snack. People love this. You can substitute with turkey bacon or a healthier option, but I personally prefer the pork bacon!
