Green with Envy Salad Dressing

This is definately going into my regular rotation of home made dressings. The only change I made was to use a tablespoon of minced fresh basil. I grow a lot of that during the summer. I make a gelatin salad frequently using applesauce so this recipe will help me use up the jar before it molds in the refrigerator. Thanks for this one.

Mango Gazpacho

I had mango gazgacho at Medusa Grill in Lake Geneva Wisconsin a couple of weeks ago. I had to find a recipe because I thought it was a delicious first course. This is the only version on all recipes and it turned out wonderfully. It has more orange taste than the restauarant one had. I may have to experiment with it. Very glad I tried this. I used not from concentrate orange juice labled as having lots of pulp so my "broth was thicker" than the restaurant version. I love finding good recipes for cold summer soups.

Grilled Chicken with Rosemary and Bacon

This recipes is the epitome of "less is more." 4 ingredients, short prep and cook time with delicious results. I can see myself making this several times during the grilling season. I grow my own rosemary on my balcony in a pot.

Bourbon Whiskey BBQ Sauce

We got a new grill and I broke it in with pork chops and this sauce. It was very good even though I didn't let it mellow in the frig overnight. Will try it again in a couple of days. Had trouble sacrificing the bourbon in a sauce but it was worth every drop.
