I've submitted two sour cherry recipes to allrecipes.com to make sure my instructions test well and other people can follow them. The season for sour cherries is short . People who don't live near or travel to Wisconsin would probably have to mail order
them frozen. I would not want one of my recipes to waste this precious ingredient for them. Anyway, you can get the recipes from my recipe box on allrecipes.com if you want a preview them or check them on my website this weekend.
www.cjsrecipe.com. I made a batch of each recipe this past week from the bucket of frozen pitted cherries I picked up in Door County last summer. As you can see from the picture they are bright red. I added no food coloring
to them. I am finding most of the summer fruits available in my area of the country to be exceptionally flavorful this year. I'm just posting this blog to inspire people to take advantage of these wonderful foods before they are gone for the year.
