Tartar Sauce I

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2015
This is pretty much how I've done it for years. Except I use dill relish or chopped dill pickle as I don't care for sweet pickle relish in my tartar sauce.

Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2014
I used this as a 'suggestion,' I toasted the bread as others suggested. And I used my own meatball recipe because I know that we all like it. Also I did not use either cream cheese or mayo as I do not use them in a meatball sandwich. I increased the shredded cheese to compensate. Make a nice way to take meatball "sandwiches" to a covered-dish, or to the office, somewhere that the real sandwiches would be too messy.

Amish Coleslaw

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2012
My mother is of Amish descent & made a similar slaw. But, she used water in place of the oil. It was much better that way. The oily taste just isn't right.

Roast Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2012
This is great. The amount of oil (I use olive oil) is just right & so is the amount of rosemary, just a hint of flavor not overpowering. It did take more than 20 minutes in my oven though.

Stuffed Kielbasa

Reviewed: May 25, 2011
Loved it! But I am of German heritage. I did cook the kraut first as I like it softer than straight from the can or jar. And I used real mashed potatoes with lots of butter.
