Berry Delicious
We've made this a few times now and the kids love it! They beg for this for dessert. The first time we used frozen strawberries and two bananas (no sugar). Tonight we used frozen raspberries, one banana, and vanilla yogurt (we were out of strawberry), and again no sugar. I'm not a big fan of smoothies myself, but I love that the kids are raving over this healthy dessert!

Brownie Crackles
They were very thin and just wouldn't cook. I had them in the oven for 20 minutes and they were still just a pile of goo when I tried to take them off the pan. Possibly it's because companies are making boxes smaller since this recipe was originally posted pre-recession. My brownie mix was only 17.4 ounces, as opposed to the 19.8 oz mix listed in the recipe.

Baked Ziti with Sausage
Delicious! I served this at a party recently and got rave reviews. One guest told me, "I've eaten a lot of ziti in my life but this is by far the best I've ever had." I tripled the recipe so it's hard to give exact measurements on the things that I changed. I used only one large onion for my triple batch and sauteed the garlic and onion with the sausage. Used a little more ricotta than the recipe called for. Didn't use any black pepper. Lost track of how much spaghetti sauce and cheese I used -- just kept piling it on! I baked it uncovered for an hour. Cheese on top was nice and golden brown. YUM!
