Cheesy Baked Salmon

Tried this last night and was very pleased. I did make a few changes - we didn't have fresh garlic in the house, so had to use garlic powder along with the dried dill. Also added a couple dots of butter on top of the fish. Also replaced cheddar with grated parmesan with only a sprinkling of cheddar. All on a bed of asparagus. I would not have thought to have melted cheese on salmon - but it was great. The asparagus really worked well with the fish as well. Thanks for the "keeper", Megan.

Shrimp and Sugar Snap Peas

The SigO and I agreed this was a little bland. It was a good start but - for our tastes - was missing something. But it was quick and easy to make - we need recipes like that in our busy lives. The next day I reheated the leftovers in a skillet - adding this time some butter, a much bigger dose of chili oil, some cayenne and a few more shakes (didn't have fresh) basil. I loved it the second go-around. This is a keeper, thanks, but next time I think I will really kick up the heat.

Shrimp and Asparagus

Cathy, thanks for that recipe! My boyfriend and I thought it was absolutely delicious. At first I thought it would be like many scampi's I've had, but I think the addition of the mushrooms added a great texture and the flat egg noodles held the sauce better than a spaghetti. This will be a regular dish in our home!!! Nice surprise, thanks again!

Roast Chicken with Rosemary

Being single, I don't always like to make a whole bird. So, I bought a couple of chicken parts, stuffed it in a roaster bag, used the rosemary rub, quartered some onions for the bag and added another spring of rosemary. And it was delicious and moist!
