Black and Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
Delicious, hearty muffins. Didn't have wheat germ, so I used some flax seed. Sprinkled brown sugar, oatmeal and some butter on top for some yummy added sweetness. Thanks for sharing a great recipe!

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
doubled the recipe and it worked well. I melted a cup of shredded cheddar into the soup and then used the immersion blender to puree it all smooth. I added more potato than they called for (2 extra). Great soup. Next time I'll add celery for some added texture. Thank you for a great recipe.

Banana Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2009
Just made these and tried one--they are great muffins! I followed a reviewers advice and used 1/3 cup brown sugar, two whole eggs, and a whole teaspoon of cinnamon. I also added a pureed peach--I had one laying around about to go bad--and it added some extra sweetness. Use lots of blueberries so you get that delicious burst of taste in every bite. Can't wait to have another one of these good-for-you treats with a cup of coffee for my breakfast tomorrow.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bars

Great recipe! I used whole wheat flour and chocolate/peanut butter swirl chips, and added just a tablespoon of strong coffee. My family loved them. Thanks!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2006
Some of the best cookies I've ever made. I used 1/2 c. whole wheat flour, all brown sugar, and added 2 Tbsp. of my leftover brewed coffee from this a.m., and used raisins instead of walnuts. Fabulous!

Florida Strawberry Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2006
These are great muffins--a super way to use up strawberries. I added one large mashed banana, an extra 1/4 tsp of nutmeg, a 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, and used a 1/2 cup of brown sugar to cream w/ the butter instead of the 1/4 c of white. Moist, delicious, and not too sweet. Yum!
