Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
Very good! Even my kid liked it. Used taco seasoning instead of taco sauce, added some sour cream, used jalapenos instead of green chilies, spread the beans on the tortillas and double layered so they wouldn't get soggy. Very filling meal. Thanks.

Pasta Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
Cooked the hamburger with italian seasonings, onion & garlic. Poured the spaghetti sauce & cheese in the skillet with hamburger meat. While it was simmering, cooked the pasta. Throw the drained pasta in the skillet, mix well and pour in casserole dish. Put more cheese on top & bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes. For the cheese, I used Kraft's Italian Five cheese (mozzarella, provolone, romano, asiago, & parm.) Very Good!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
Wished I'd listened to other reviewers and used a chuck. Flavor was good. Didn't have beer, so I used cola as per one reviewers suggestion. Son asked for seconds and asked that I make it again. That works for me :)

Baked Paprika-Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2010
Bought expensive parm cheese and paprika. Followed recipe as written (with the exception of adding garlic powder). It smelled wonderful, looked wonderful, and tasted terrible. My son refused to eat it after the 1st bite. I managed to eat half a breast. This just wasn't for us.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
For people, like myself, who don't like ricotta cheese, this recipe is outstanding. I added some italian sausage, garlic & italian seasoning to the hamburger meet. Used 2 jars of Muir Glen Organic Garlic Roasted Garlic for the sauce. I mixed the sour cream with the ziti. It helps keep the noodles moist. I learned that trick from the Baked Ziti III recipe reviews on this site. It's virtually the same recipe as this one. Served with garlic bread. I used the garlic butter recipe from this site and it was fabulous as well. Perfect meal!

Superb! Tender and tasty. I added noodles that I made from Grandma's Noodles II by Sandy. Perfect chicken noodle soup like my Mom use to make.

So delicious! I used the broth & chicken from the "Boiled Chicken" recipe by George & added these noodles. YUM! Just like my Momma used to make.

Blackened Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2009
Outstanding! After reading reviews, I was scared about the spice factor. However, I decided to be brave & made as directed plus adding a tablespoon of hot mexican style chili powder. I did replace the butter with olive oil as many suggested. Loved it! Thanks Jeff for a great recipe.

This recipe was wonderful! Even though I accidently used way too much onion powder, it still turned out great. Thanks for the recipe

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2006
What a great recipe!! I played with it a little bit & used other reviewer's ideas. I rubbed meat tenderizer, garlic powder, course ground pepper & crushed red pepper on it before I browned it. Used a can of beef broth, package of onion soup mix & beefy onion soup mix, worcestershire sauce, fresh mushrooms, carrots, celery & potatoe. Kept adding a little bit of salt, pepper & crushed red pepper as it cooked. It was fall apart-melt in your mouth tender with a little kick to it! Everyone loved it.
