Snickerdoodle Sandwich Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2014
I love the Snickerdoodles but to be honest, the frosting was just a little too much. My whoopee pie loving daughter had trouble eating the whole thing. The Parchment Paper Cookie Sheets did make them a lot easier to make however.

Apple Bran Muffins from Mott's®

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2014
A little firm but that was expected since we used applesauce instead of oil. Good flavor. Definitely a bring to the office muffin.

Double Fudge Brownie Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2014
They look like melted brownies and they taste great. We used Peanut M&M's instead of chocolate chips and left out the almond extract. Kids were very happy.

Rotini with Asparagus, Salmon and Cherry Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2014
We used leftover cold cubed salmon and it worked. Tarragon & Lemon brought freshness but maybe some lemon Pepper next time to punch it up a bit. Will make a great cold leftover salad today for lunch

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2014
think it needs a little more than just some garlic & cheese but it still worked for us.

Turkey Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2013
We made a few minor changes due to lack of ingredients but this came out a winner all the same. The leftovers could actually be used for a funky shepherd's pie base.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2013
We normally use beef in our Sheperd's Pie but this time we used BUTTERBALL GROUND TURKEY and the results were great. Really went well with the sweetness of the carrots and my wife & I appreciated the lower calories & health benefits of using BUTTERBALL GROUND TURKEY.

Maple-Balsamic Marinated Steak with Grilled Pear Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2013
A very flavorful recipe in which the Balsamic did overpower the Maple Syrup. If it were me, I would cut back on the Balsamic & Pepper by 1/3 and double up on the maple syrup. Really enjoyed the pears & red onions. We paired them with Manchego Cheese & Walnuts. Beef, it's what's for dinner.

Maui Girl's Mango Pie

Reviewed: May 27, 2013
We used four large mangoes and served it with a lemon-vanilla whipped cream. Loved the rich mango flavor. This is a big time keeper in this family and is definitely going with us to the next whatever wherever. Can't wait to experiment with it too. Mango & Blueberry ? Mango & Pineapple ? Mango & Raspberry ? Mango & Peach ? Endless possibilities.

Creole Crab and Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2013
The next time I make this, if I do, I won't use a 1/2 cup of jalapenos. That just seemed like heat for the sake of heat. It also buried the paprika & Old Bay. I'll keep it for inspiration.

Caramel Corn Treat Bags

This one was big hit in our house and all we made was the caramel corn. I don't think we will ever buy the "Name Brand" again.

Linguini with Roasted Vegetables and Tomato Basil Chicken Meatballs

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2012
The meatballs are definitely the star of this dish according to my family. We thought the onions should be diced instead of in rings and that overall, the vegetables should be roasted a bit longer. A little more parmesan and double the meatballs the next time we make this dish.

Roasted Broccoli & Crispy Polenta with Roasted Pepper & Asiago Chicken Sausage

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2012
A very nice combination (absolutely love grilling polenta) that we all agreed could have used a sauce of some kind and a little more cheese on the broccoli & peppers. The sausage is inherently dry but it's very tasty. We will make again with twists.

Easy Weeknight Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2012
A basic & bland beef stroganoff that was actually a big hit with the kids at my daughter's sleepover. I felt that while the sauce had a good mushroom flavor, the lack of mushroom chunks was noticeable. Have to do something with the beef too since it came out a little bit tough. A keeper in a pinch.
