I have made this 2 years in a row! I give it to my neighbors and they LOVE it!! This year when I gave it to them, they said they had hoped I would share again! Definately a yearly tradition at our house!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
Made this last night for dinner and it thought it was wonderful! I took ALL the advice of JILLYBEAN14 and it was very tasty! The only thing I did different was used a low fat sour cream to add to the top. Perfect! Will make again!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
This soup was great! I would have given it 5 stars, but I made a few changes of my own. First I sauted all the vegetable and diced potato,(I also added more potatoes than the recipe called for),adding carrots to it also until they were translucent. I added a couple cloves of garlic right before I added the stock...instead of water. I diced a ton of leftover ham and added that and brought it to a simmer until the vegs and potato were almost done. I followed the rest of the recipe and it came out super!

Oatmeal and Applesauce Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2008
I made these today and they were really good! I had to make a double recipe, (I have 5 kids), my batter was perfect, not to thick, not to thin. I did add 1TBS. sugar per batch as per others suggestions and it was just right! Great flavor! You really have to cook these low and slow for them to cook all the way through and not burn, but they are worth the wait! I really enjoyed these as did my family! We will make them again for sure!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
These are delicious and easy cookies! I also added a 1/2 tsp. salt and put the batter in the fridge for an hour before baking. I rolled them out in balls and baked them! They came out perfectly puffy and had a great taste. With all cookies, put them in a container with a piece of white bread and they will stay soft for days!!!

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
Wow this recipe was really great! I did add more liquid to it because others said it needed more. I added 3/4C. chicken stock 2 lemons instead of just one and the additional 1/4C heavy cream the other reviewers tried and it was SOOO good! My 3 year old even ate it up! I will make this one again for sure!

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2007
This cookie is SO good! I followed the recipe exactly and had perfect puffed cookies. I think the people that had a problem with flat cookies was that when they melted the butter and sugar, they OVER melted. I actually did mine in the microwave. I did it for 1 min. with the butter, sugar and water and then just wisked until all the butter was melted. Then added the chips, microwaved for 1 more min. and then used a wisk to stir the chips until they were all melted. The batter at that point it still pretty thick, not thin like it would be if everything was much to hot. Make sure to let it cool well! Also, when I chilled the dough, I put it in a rectangular pan and put it in the fridge. Let it cool all the way through! I promise, your cookies won't be flat! I WILL make this recipe over and over! My kids and husband ate them all up!

Tasty Tortellinis

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2007
I really liked this recipe, but I changed a few things. First, I cut the oil to 1/2 a cup and added another TBS. of mustard, and a dash of sugar too. I sauted the garlic with shallots and red peppers and fresh corn. Added raw halved grape tomatoes and it made more of a salad, but it was super!! The fresh basil is the perfect finish along with fresh grated parm. cheese!
