Babe Ruth Bars

These bars were super easy to put together and really quite tasty. Unfortunately my chocolate chips melted when everything was stirred together so it looked more like a chocolate bar. My only real issue was the chewiness of the bar. I realize that's because of the corn flakes, but it may still prevent me from making them again.

No Bake Cookies III

Amazing! Chocolaty, peanut buttery goodness! Perfect for the middle of July when you don't want to heat the house up baking cookies. Love this recipe. I did make a small change - I used 1- 1/4 cups of white sugar and 3/4 cup of brown sugar. I just love the flavour and texture that brown sugar gives to sweets. It was so great! Thanks for the recipe; a definite keeper.

No Bake Cookies III

Easy French Dip Sandwiches

I actually found this recipe quite bland. I had to add a few ingredients to salvage it. I added 1 shallot, sliced into rings; 1/2 small red onion, sliced; 2 garlic cloves, minced; 1/2 tsp pot herbs. Also, the provolone cheese was very overwhelming. I would heartily recommend a milder cheese, such as mozzarella.

Chicken Jalfrezi

I was really looking forward to this. And I was really disappointed with it. First, it was waaaayyy too salty. 1 tsp of salt is more than enough. Maybe even 3/4 tsp would work. Second, I didn't really like the combo of flavours. Left a lot to be desired. On the positive side, it was super easy to make and the chicken was very tender.

Peanut Noodles

The sauce was pretty good. I wasn't enthusiastic about the noodle consistency. Generally I use a rice noodle or some kind of asian noodle for peanut noodles. I didn't like the texture of the spaghetti for peanut noodles. That is definitely something I would change.

Italian Dressing Mix

VERY good! When I mixed the herbs with the vinegar and oil, I used white balsamic, so it made the dressing quite sweet. I will try it with regular vinegar next time just to see what kind of results I get.

When I took that first bite, I was astonished. And not in a good way. First of all - it was WAAAY too salty. And that was after I cut the salt in half! Because feta cheese is so salty on its own, it is not necessary to add 2 tsp of salt to the meat. It's easier to add salt to something after it's cooked than to take it away. Secondly, it was missing something for spices. I can't put my finger on it - it just needed something else. I wish I could give this recipe more stars, but I can't justify it after having to throw most of it in the garbage. The only really great thing about it was the pizza dough - and that was my recipe.

Greek Salad

The dressing recipe was amazing! I did make one addition - I added a clove of minced garlic to the dressing. It just seemed wrong not to. And I made one change - as suggested by other reviewers, I used olive oil instead of veg oil. I have tried so many recipes in the past that I could not choke down, mainly because they used red wine vinegar, but this recipe was excellent. A definite keeper!

Lemon Cream Cupcakes

Excellent flavour, wonderful texture, very moist! I did replace the frosting recipe with my own as I didn't think the recipe provided would produce enough frosting to ice all the cupcakes. A definite keeper! Thanks so much for the recipe!

Aaron's Missouri Burger

The burgers turned out great! I used extra lean beef and this recipe made the meat quite tender, much less "dry". Found it spicy with the red chili pepper ... very good but not an every day burger recipe for me, more of a special occasion burger.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

This steak marinade was good. Not best in existence, but good. I didn't find that it tenderized the steak much, which is what I was really looking for. I will probably use this marinade again with a more tender cut of beef. I also like my marinade to have a little sweetness to it, so I would probably add some honey or brown sugar to it next time too.

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

I have always loved this recipe since the first time I tried it at a Pampered Chef party. It is sooo tasty. I usually a little extra in the veggie department just to bulk it up and make it a little healthier. Also, I use the multigrain crescent roll dough - it adds a fuller, nuttier flavour to the braid.

Unbelievable Chicken

This marinade truly is unbelievable! Excellent flavour, very tender meat! Next time I am going to do what another reviewer recommended: butterfly the chicken breast so that more surface area can marinate, because more of this marinade can only be a good thing!

Chicken Biryani, Hyderabadi Style

When I read the recipe I was so excited to try it. Now I am just disappointed and have a big bowl of leftovers that may end up going to waste. Not a recipe that I will try again - way too bland.
