Quick Tuna Salad

I love simple, but tasty. If time permits, I add a smashed boiled egg to this. I've learned over the years that most people I cook for prefer simple over spicey. Thanks for sharing!

Southern Fried Chicken

This is the basic way to cook southern fried chicken. Self-rising flour can also be used and you don't need the paprika to have good fried chicken. Back in the day, Crisco shortening was used for delicious fried chicken.

Mini Meatloaves

For us, we needed 1/2 cup chopped onion which improved the flavor. These are good with no topping, but with gravy drizzled over the top. The cheese gives a firmer texture. I form these into small patties or loaves and bake in a greased foil lined 9x 13 pan for easy clean up. Thanks for sharing.

Easy Cheese Ball II

Everyone loved this cheese ball which is not always the case when serving cheese balls. I made sure I used Hidden Ranch original dressing mix. This is so easy and so good!! It's a keeper.

Pennsylvania Coal Region Barbecue

Marzetti® Old Fashioned Potato Salad

After serving many good potato salads, my family prefers this one because of the dressing. I do sweeten the dressing with a little white sugar or splenda and change a couple of the salad's ingredients from time to time, but it's always the dressing that makes the salad. I love this because it's not only time saving, but delicious.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

This recipe had mixed reviews. Some thought the cookies were a bit too spicy. I guess those people have the so called super taste buds. Anyway, I probably won't make it again or at least, leave out the cloves.

Garden Pasta Salad

I love this. I usually make half at a time for myself using macaroni pasta. I don't always have carrots on hand and I usually substitute red bell pepper (high in Vit. C) and use much less dressing. My point is-this recipe is such a forgiving recipe. It always turns out great. Thanks for taking the time to share.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

It's not as tasty as the original Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie--perhaps it's the unsalted butter that makes the difference. They are easy to make and have a good texture, but I probably won't make again. If I do, I'll use salted butter and cut back on the salt in the recipe.

Tina's Pumpkin Spice Bars

I made half the recipe (13 servings). I baked the mixture in a 9 inch square pan and frosted with homemade cream cheese frosting. My family liked them as they weren't too spicy. I saw in the newspaper where a lady won first place at a state pumpkin festival using this recipe. Thanks for posting.

Chicken Salad Spread

Sometimes I add a finely chopped boiled egg and leave out the pickles and celery and the sandwich spread it still good. When leaving out the pickles, the spread doesn't get soggy.

Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

This gingerbread is the best I've made, but I must confess I did double the spices as spices vary from brand to brand. I also used Brer Rabbit unsulphured molasses and started checking the baking time at 40 minutes. With my oven, the gingerbread was finished in 43 minutes. We enjoyed this with topped whipping cream. Thanks for sharing. It is now my favorite as it is flavorful, but not an over-powering gingerbread.

Springtime Potato Salad

So good! I didn't use radishes and I used pickle relish as I didn't have any pickle cubes on hand. The dressing was great and the salad was even better the next day. Next time I may use a little extra dressing. Thanks for sharing.

So easy and so good. I added beef cubes (3-4) to the hot water instead of using beef broth. Also, I added 1 TBS. of A1 sauce. Thanks for sharing such a simple and delicious recipe.

Mother's Day Pie

So Good!! This was so easy and it turned out perfectly. We all loved it. It did take longer to bake in my oven. I think the recipe needs a new title as it's not just a Mother's Day Pie. The word coconut needs to be in the title when people search for coconut recipes. Thanks for posting this little gem!!

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

This is not the best Sloppy Joe recipe I've used, but it's good for a quick meal and especially good for those who don't like chopped onions, chopped green peppers, etc. in their sloppy joes. Sometimes I use a little BBQ sauce for a different flavor. Thanks for sharing. I'll use this often.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

This is a wonderful old fashioned tasting, non-tomato based stew which is even better the next day. It is good as written, but can be tweaked to suit various tastes. Some cooks like adding a tsp. of sugar and a pinch of allspice to stews with additional broth. Thanks for sharing.

Quick and Simple Broccoli and Cheese
