Quick and Simple Broccoli and Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2010
I'm the only one in my family that can eat broccoli and I need to make individual servings for my- self. This worked beautifully. I made the recipe for one person. Thanks for posting. It was definitely easy and quick.

Cherry Crunch

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
Tasty and easy--my kind of recipe. I added 1/4 tsp. of almond flavoring to the canned cherry. It's delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream. I'm sure I'll use this recipe many times.. Thanks for posting.

Sweet Baby Carrots

Nice. This is a good dish for guests and the holidays I agree, 1/2 the sauce would be plenty. Thanks for posting.

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
I added 1/2 cup sour cream and had to bake it longer than 35 minutes as I used southern style hash browns not the shredded. My guests loved this dish.

Tina's Pumpkin Spice Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
I made half the recipe (13 servings). I baked the mixture in a 9 inch square pan and frosted with homemade cream cheese frosting. My family liked them as they weren't too spicy. I saw in the newspaper where a lady won first place at a state pumpkin festival using this recipe. Thanks for posting.

Chicken Salad Spread

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
Sometimes I add a finely chopped boiled egg and leave out the pickles and celery and the sandwich spread it still good. When leaving out the pickles, the spread doesn't get soggy.

Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
This gingerbread is the best I've made, but I must confess I did double the spices as spices vary from brand to brand. I also used Brer Rabbit unsulphured molasses and started checking the baking time at 40 minutes. With my oven, the gingerbread was finished in 43 minutes. We enjoyed this with topped whipping cream. Thanks for sharing. It is now my favorite as it is flavorful, but not an over-powering gingerbread.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
I've made this recipe with and without the chocolate chips. Both ways the recipe turns out very good. I like this recipe because I usually have everything on hand and it is so easy to make.

Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
I added 2/3 c. of dark chocolate chips and baked the brownies for 40 min. at 325. They turned out moist and full of flavor. I've found when baking peanut butter cakes/cookes or making peanut butter candy, a strong flavored peanut butter works best. I like Jif as the peanut taste is stronger and the cooked/baked products have more of a peanuty taste when completed.

Dump Cake V

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2008
Easy, good, and quick--my kind of recipe. I left out the nuts and added more coconut. Some ate this as if it were a cobbler with milk and sugar. Others used whipped cream or ice cream. Thanks for sharing.

Ed Zieba's Famous Family Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
Thank your for an easy pork chop recipe that doesn't contain soup. These were so tender and delicious. After removing from the oven, I added a little salt and black pepper to the baked chops. The family loved them. I will be using this recipe again and again.

Basic Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2008
Soooo easy and good. If you really like the taste of cream cheese, you could use a little less sugar. I used a 1/2 butter 1/2 blend stick and the frosting turned out just fine.

This is delicious and the recipe makes a huge batch. I couldn't stop eating it. So is separated it into batches and put them in the freezer for future meals. I also had enough left to give three neighbors. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Marzetti® Old Fashioned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2008
After serving many good potato salads, my family prefers this one because of the dressing. I do sweeten the dressing with a little white sugar or splenda and change a couple of the salad's ingredients from time to time, but it's always the dressing that makes the salad. I love this because it's not only time saving, but delicious.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2008
I left out the ham and used 4 cups of diced potatoes and 2 (14 oz) cans of chicken broth instead of water and bouillon. I also mashed 1 large potato and added to the soup to thicken. It turned out great. This is a keeper. Thanks.

Quick Tuna Salad

I love simple, but tasty. If time permits, I add a smashed boiled egg to this. I've learned over the years that most people I cook for prefer simple over spicey. Thanks for sharing!

Salmon Patties I

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2008
A wonderful basic recipe that most people will enjoy. I used quick 1-minute oatmeal instead of bread crumbs, increased the onion to 1/2 c, and sprinkled the mixture with garlic salt. I also make these exactly by the recipe and dip in Heinz 57 sauce. If I want even more flavor, I fry in oil and butter. Yum! Can't go wrong with this one.
