Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2012
One can of refined beans, not two. Dashes of hot sauce. Added one package of taco seasoning with 3/4 of water. Simmer for 45 minutes. Longer the better. Burrito size tortillas cut in squares to fit the pan. This will overlap to give more layers( plus the left over bits of the tortillas that was cut off) Did meat sauce, corn and black beans(drained), cheese then tortilla. Served with lettuce, tomato and sour cream. Made in a 11x9 pan and three layers. Add hot sauce or more peppers for some heat. Great recipe!!!

In the oven now. Baked crescent for 7 minutes then added sausage with bell pepper and onion and bacon. Some maple syrup on top of the meat, 10 eggs, 3/4 cup of milk, some butter and 2 cups of chesse. Topping it off with sliced cherry tomatoes. Smells good!

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake V

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
First time making this recipe and it turned out great! I used 8in. round cake pans , put 1 tbs of butter in each pan and put it in the oven to melt while the oven is preheating ,golden butter cake mix , 1/2 cup of coconut for both pans , also I used less of the brown sugar. I set my timer for 25 mins. but needed to add 15 mins. more.As soon as they came out of the oven I stacked them. ** TIP** The top of my cake started to crack , so I wrapped foil around the cake to push it in. Let it cool , remove and no cracks!!
