About this Cook
I rarely follow a recipe exactly, I usually add a bit more of this or a little less of that and so far it's worked out pretty nicely! I'm loving cooking more and more.
My favorite things to cook
Chocolate desserts and italian entrees

Blackened Tilapia with Secret Hobo Spices
Just made the seasoning and smeared it on my tilapia, let it set 5-10 minutes and cooked in the pan as described. Oh my GOSH amazing!! I am new to tilapia and I think I will have a hard time making it any other way. I'm on a special diet so no bread for me and I didn't add the lemon juice but this is one of the best things I've had ever. Mmm mmm. When I'm done with this diet I'd like to have it with some fettucine alfredo.

Cumin Vinaigrette
I made some of this because I'm on a Candida diet and can't have most of the store bought salad dressings. I left out the sugar (can't have that) and hot pepper sauce because I didn't have any on hand. It tastes fabulous!! I'm so excited because I love salad and will definitely be eating a lot on this diet.

Alfredo Sauce
I was looking for this recipe because I'd been using almost the exact same recipe that someone sent me calling it an Olive Garden copycat. The only difference was this recipe called for TWICE the amount of parmesan! I've been wanting to try using fresh garlic for awhile so I requested my mom buy some when she shopped for groceries. She also picked up a garlic press and I went to town. We have a large family of ten children so I quadrupled this. After reading some reviews I tried adding an extra clove of garlic and did not put the full amount of parmesan because we didn't have enough. Oh my gosh this stuff is incredible!! I think the fresh garlic is what kicks it over the edge. Before it was just kind of blah but this, oh this is great!! Will make again and again!!!
