Extreme Chocolate Cake
This is a great cake. I always get rave reviews. It comes out very fluffy. Sometimes when I want a denser cake I reduce the baking soda and powder to 1 tsp and reduce the boiling water to 3/4 c. Freezes great!

Spinach and Potato Frittata
This is great. I use whatever veggies/cheese/potatoes I have leftover and throw it in. Sometimes I leave the potatoes out. I throw in fresh herbs if I have them. So versatile. I always use the same ratio of eggs to milk. I also put it under the broiler for a minute or so to brown it.

Strawberry Cake from Scratch
Making the cake exactly as it stated, I would give it 4 stars, but after some modifications, it was a perfect 5 for my taste! I always make the cake with the original recipe, then modify based on my own outcome and others reviews. My modifications were: reduce sugar to 1&3/4 c.; reduce the gelatin to 2oz.; fluff the cake flour with a fork b/f measuring - I do a lot of baking and I'm too pressed for time to sift (or too lazy ;), increase the baking powder to 1 Tbs, add 1/2 tsp salt, reduce vanilla to 2 tsp; defrost strawberries and strain befor pureeing. Do take the time to make sure your ingredients are room tempature and scrape down your bowl
