Chocolate-Zucchini Cupcakes

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2009
4 stars as original, 5 with changes: Doubled the chocolate, but only had semi-sweet baking squares and I should have reduced the sugar. Also, substituted 1/2 applesauce for the oil. Very tasty. The batter was very liquid-y, but after 20 minutes, they were done and look great. Thanks Jen!

French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2009
This was quite tasty! We served these on toasted hoagie buns with provolone cheese and au jus. The sandwiches tasted even better the next day after flavors had blended more. Thanks Giselle!

Easy Grape Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
Wow, this is so easy to eat! :) It's a great combination of sweet and juicy, basically grape tossed with a fruit dip. We seemed to have more dip than we needed for the grapes, but that might have been loose measuring. Will probably make again for a light dessert or for a luncheon salad. MMmmm. Thanks for the easy recipe!

French Onion Soup II

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
Delicious! Made it just as it said and it was great! Super easy, which I loved. Next time I'd cut the onions into shorter pieces, they got a bit long. Mmmm... Thanks Corwynn!

Double Quick Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2009
Tasty! We omitted the onion powder and I'm glad we did, it let us be more versatile with spreads. Very easy, just a little bit of waiting in between for the yeast. Next time we'll double it, because they tasted so good the next morning for breakfast!

Easy Vegetable Pot Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
Very Simple and turned out beautifully. I made two. One following the recipe (exactly) and a second using a Mexican blend of veggies and chicken breasts (cooked&diced) and cream of chicken in place of the cream of potato. And a few teaspoons of hot sauce... Both were quite good. :) Thanks KDCG!

Pea 'n' Crab Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
This is amazing! I just put it together and I can tell already it will make great leftovers! :D It would be great as a main dish with a soft dinner rolls on the side. I added a 1/2 red onion (finely chopped), used Newman's Own Oil&Vinegar dressing and Feta with tomato&basil. Thank you Test Kitchen! :D

Pumpkin Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
Oh man, I've got a new favorite! I loved how these flavors combined so subtly and the cloves really came through to make you think of fall! Used 1/2 white sugar, 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 whole wheat flour, 1/2 all-purpose flour. I bumped up the cinnamon just a touch. Doubled the recipe to make 2 9x13" pans. Each baked at 350 for exactly 30 min. I think I'm going to make this right before my mother-in-law comes over next time because the whole house smelled fabulous! Thanks for the great recipe!

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2009
Good way to get a little bit of veggies into a chocolate fan! I peeled my zucchini ahead of time, To save time, I didn't take time to make the frosting. I think it probably would have added to it. I just dusted with powdered sugar instead. Will probably make again. Thanks!

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
This was fantastic! And fantastically easy, I can't wait to share the recipe. We followed it with the omission of celery and halved the cayenne pepper. It still had a bit of a kick without being overpowering. Served over Zatarain's Rice & Beans (1.5 boxes). Thanks so much for the great recipe!

Frosty Freezer Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
So easy! I loved how quick this went together and kept for the few days until I needed it. Could probably make 2 pies with all the extra filling! Got lots of compliments! Be sure to decorate with raspberries to let people know the flavor (I got tired of telling them it which kind of berries it was.)

Garden Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
Amazing! Omitted the celery, added black olives and blanched broccoli. Made it this weekend to share with friends, they kept the leftovers, so I had to make it again 2 days later. Delicious! Be sure to use Newman's Own Olive Oil & Vinegar dressing and wait until the pasta has cooled. YUM! Tasted great fresh and great 2 days later.

Easy Baked Tilapia

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
5 stars with more seasonings. I followed the recipe closely, but added more seasonings, unfortunately it still needed flavor. Really bump up the seasoning. I lined my pan with foil and it made for super easy clean-up. I prepped almost all of it the night before and just threw in the vegetables before putting it in the oven. Will likely make again! Thanks F_Gory!

New Orleans Barbeque Shrimp

Followed it almost exactly. I agree, a Spicy Shrimp Scampi is just about the best description. Great with bread, and I recommend a green salad to go with it. Mmmm!

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: May 21, 2009
Delicious! I made two. For one, I threw in 7 oz of chopped ham on the bottom. My husband said it's one of the best meals he's had in a long time. :D It turned out lovely last night. I microwaved it for 5 min at 50% power. The other I added seeded tomatoes and reheated in the oven at 250 for 15 minutes(?). Mmm, very good. Always make sure to cook and drain your veggies prior to adding to the quiche and layering sliced/shredded cheese on the bottom helps keep the quiche from getting soggy. Thanks for the recipe!
