Pepperoni Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
I really enjoyed this! We added more seasonings and cheese, and next time I think I'll add mushrooms and olives to get a real pizza taste... :) Thanks for the recipe!

Whipped Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
Will make again! I think I will mash the potatoes next time instead of whipping them, I like the added texture. Tossed in a few pecans on top for flavor.

It was ok, I think I'll play with the seasonings a bit next time. Will likely make again.

Karen's Baked Banana Stuffed French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
I enjoyed the warm banana, and how easy this recipe was, but we'll probably stick with traditional french toast. Fun to try though! Thanks

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
Very good, passed it along to Mom, too and she's converted from the store-bought packages. :) Ours turned out pretty spicy, I might have used the wrong pepper! Will use again.

Cinnamon Rolls III

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
I love how fast the bread maker made this for me! I enjoyed the flavor and the texture (didn't try the frosting tho). I brought it in to work and didn't get any feedback which is unusual... I don't know if people didn't like the nuts? Will make again with raisins instead! Thanks for the great recipe!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
Very good and also very pretty. Used seedless raspberry jam in place of the raspberry sauce (much quicker!). It serves quite a few as it's rather rich. I hope it freezes well.

Glazed Beef Loaf

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
There's ~ 4 steps to this recipe, read it slowly. I did not and just mixed it all together... And it still turned out great! The husband loved it and I was excited I could sneak in a few carrots. Next time I'll do it as the recipe directs, add a bit more cheese and veggies. Thanks Marjorie!

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake II

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
I've made this one 3 times now and each time I've gotten great reviews! I've wanted a lemon-blueberry flavor, so I substituted a Pillsbury lemon cake mix and omitted the pudding. Icing was just powdered sugar, milk, lemon extract. It was great! Will use many more times! Thx for the great recipe! **UPDATE** Accidentally left out the sugar, too, and I love how it's a simpler flavor and not so sweet! I'll be omitting the sugar and pudding in the future. Love it!

Pasta Carcione

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
Wow, my husband could NOT stop talking about this one! Thanks for the great recipe, I'll try others tips next time. I used whole wheat pasta (al dente!) and instead of mixing it together, served it over an Italian blend salad mix. Will definitely make again! *Update* Still a favorite! Have added more seasonings and tried black olives with it, too. Great for a light evening meal, or a beautiful side (compliments fish nicely)

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
This recipe was alright. Not the best, but I'll probably use it again. Substitutions: 1) used veg oil 2) added vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, & blueberries. Husband said they were good. Definitely cook on Low-Med heat. Thanks!

Make Ahead French Toast

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
Served it for my family and Mom was very impressed, Hubby loved it, too! Only substitution was plain yogurt for half-and-half. Dumped all of the egg mixture in and it wasn't soggy at all! Just moist - Will make again! **Update: Best with challah and 3/4 c. br sugar. For those who don't like nuts, omit the pecans and add 2 t. cinnamon. Delicious!

Grain and Nut Whole Wheat Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
Would give it a 4.5 if I could :) 4 stars because the batter was difficult to spread out, but 5 stars because the husband loved it. Will definitely make it again and am passing the recipe along!

Mine was nice and golden on top, but still a bit doughy inside. Will have to try again in smaller loaf pans.

Danish Kringle

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2007
It tasted good, but my husband said it reminded him more of a strudel than a kringle. Had enough dough to make 2: a walnut and one with apple pie filling. The walnut reminded me of baclava and we enjoyed the apple pie filling more, both were a sweet treat.
