Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2007
this was easy and good. I had to use chix boullion because i had no broth, and I added some velveta to the final product, but the recipe itself is a keeper. I'll be using it again...Thanks.

Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

I thought these were amazingly similar to crab cakes. I would like to try adding capers as I love them in my crab cakes. Great recipe!

Ribbon Salad

I used red and blue jello for this salad to make a red, white and blue salad on the Fourth of July. Everyone loved it. Tasty and festive. Thanks.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This was great. I have never had a post roast turn out so tasty and perfect. Mashed potatoes are great to serve with it because of the great gravy.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2005
I thought this was an easy and rich way to make a cream sauce. I only used the ingredients for the sauce and I sauteed the chicken rather than baking it.Then I just put the chix on a bed of pasta and poured the sauce over with garnish of chopped parsley. I liked this. I didn't have golden mushroom soup so I subbed a cup of chix and beef bullion combined(cubes) and found it worked well.

Thai Noodle Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2005
This was good. I liked the sauce the best. Even though I don't usually use red pepper, I used it in the sauce and enjoyed the zing. I used ramen noodles, rinsed and oiled, because our grocery store had not Udon. I thought it worked okay. Also added red bell pepper in place of carrots. Oh, and I also added thinly sliced cabbage(coleslaw mix). I thought it workded well- a good luncheon dish.

Chicken Vicious

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2005
This was very good. I used left over chicken, scaled down the recipe and used broccoli and red/green bell peppers. I don't usually love hot foods, but I liked the red pepper kick to this. Thanks. (edit- I have found myself craving the sauce for this and will sometimes make just the sauce to put over the rice--it is so good, it's become an addiction.)

This is a great recipe-it reminds me of cheese soups from a restaurant. I was also happy with how easy it was to make.

Sesame Green Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2004
I like this recipe because it's quick and easy. Sometimes, I don't have sesame seeds, and it's great without. Also, I've been using one or two cubes of chicken bouillon with a quarter cup of water in the microwave for a minute as my broth. This recipe is an easy way to add flavor to beans.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2003
I loved this recipe - It is so easy and comes out so tasty and elegant. I solved the dry chicken problem by spreading some mayo and dijon mustard on the chicken before adding the ham and cheese. The chicken wasn't dry and it tasted great. (I even used light Miracle Whip.) Oh- I used Monteray Jack instead of Swiss, and that also worked well.

Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2003
My enchilada recipe is similar- but I add rice and sometimes refried beans in each enchilada. I also use only one pound of hamburger, a medium size onion and cheddar and jack cheese. For those having problems with bland meat: I mix a half of a can of red enchilada sauce (i use old el paso) in with the beef. I then cover the enchiladas with 2 cans of green enchilada sauce (same brand) and the rest of the red. I garnish with the usual taco toppings. My friends and family love this dish and will come over just for leftovers if they hear I've made it.
