Great Pumpkin Dessert

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
Delicious! Made this for a family bbq today and everyone raved! My Mom, who lives for pumpkin pie, said it was the best pumpkin dessert she'd ever had! My 4 year old niece said, "I can't stop eating it, Auntie!" No leftovers! Some changes: Used pecans instead of walnuts, didn't have pumpkin pie spice..but improvised with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2010
My husband requested a decadent, gooey, chocolate cake for his birthday...so I decided to make this glaze for the "Too Much Chocolate" cake. It was a HUGE hit! Everyone loved the glaze...and commented on how delicious it was and pretty it looked! Thanks for the recipe :)

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
Made this for dinner last night..it was a BIG hit with my husband and my parents! Super easy to make (didn't change a thing) and the aroma fills up the entire house! Can't wait to make this in the fall/winter with Mexican Cornbread. Thanks for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Barbeque

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2010
My husband really dislikes pot roast...but it's so easy to just throw one in the crockpot..so I looked for a BBQ recipe that would change the taste. He LOVED it! I used Sweet Baby Ray's sauce, onion powder, kosher salt, minced garlic and cracked pepper. Drained crockpot then, re-applied sauce. We separated the meat and made sandwiches with whole wheat buns..served with red potatoes and baked beans. Husband said it was delicious and would love to have it again! Thanks!

Baked Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2010
Made this today, substituting panko crumbs instead of the flour...and I used frozen chicken breasts. My husband said it had a really good flavor and the chicken was juicy. I added pineapple juice & chunks. He loves Chinese food, so I was glad to find this baked version of one of his favorite dishes! Will make again for sure.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
I baked this for a New Year Eve's party. Everyone raved that it was the best, moistest cake they'd ever had! My sister said it was heavenly. I even had a guest ask to take some home! Finally a MOIST chocolate cake recipe! Followed most of the recipe, except: I cut the oil in half and baked it in a 9x13 cake pan for 45 minutes. I made Baker's one bowl chocolate frosting with it.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2009
Trying out recipes for Thanksgiving...this worked great! Husband couldn't wait to eat it...had it warm out of the oven and he said it was delicious and he could really taste the spices. I didn't make any changes or additions to this recipe. I thought this tasted better than the Libby's recipe I usually make.

Cakes In A Cone

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2005
I made these cupcakes for my niece's birthday party and all the kids loved them! Even the grown-ups were commenting on how good they tasted and how they really looked like ice cream cones! I used a funfetti cake mix and decorated with chocolate, vanilla and strawberry frosting and sprinkles. Thank you!

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2005
This cake was delicious! I made it for Easter 2005 and everyone loved it! The cake was the first dessert gone..and even picky eaters, who usually dislike cream cheese frosting, raved over how delicious it was! I got several requests (from my husband, sister and brother-in-law) to make this for their birthdays! I didn't have any pecans, and the cake still turned out great! Thank you!
