Fast Chicken Soup Base

I use ground thyme - which give it a wonderful flavor along with 1 teaspoon of rosemary and 2 Tablespoons of parsley. Since I didn't have celery, I used celery seeds - 1 teaspoon for added flavor.

Classic Chicken and Rice Soup

I used 1/4c dried parsley and 1 cup of white rice (because these are what I had on hand). Tasted wonderful.

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

I increase the bread to 8-9 pieces of white bread and I have never toasted the bread. I usually use fresh bread as well. I increase the eggs to 8 eggs and milk to 2 1/2 cups. This makes for a fluffier casserole as opposed to a dense, flat dish - it obviously does not change the flavor. The flavor is excellent! I have been using this recipe for several years with rave reviews!

Fabulous French Loaves

Really enjoyed this recipe. I let my bread hook on my kitchenaid do all the work as I added the flour and then had the machine knead the bread. Bread is very tasty!

Broccoli Coleslaw

I use the full head of broccoli in this, but I also used the stems. I cut away the flesh material on the outside of the broccoli stem and in the center it is soft and great for dicing up and throwing into the salad. Also, I cut my carrots into thinly sliced circles because I wanted to give the appearance of using more vegetables. I chilled the dressing first and then added the vegetables. Also, I don't use all of the noodles from the Ramen, I think it makes it too crunchy and then when the dressing soaks in, too soft.

Fresh Tomato Basil Sauce

I used much smaller proportions and simmered it down into a thick sauce, which I then put over pizza crust - tasty!

Pizza Dough III

I really enjoyed this crust! My husband thought that it should be crispier, but I liked it soft (and I was the one making it :) ). I added 2 T of sugar instead though, which gave it a great flavor.
