Beef and Noodle Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2000
My whole family absolutely loved this recipe. It was easy to make and even my picky 4 yr. old son ate a whole plate full, as well as my toddler son. I added garlic powder to the ground beef. Since I do not care for processed cheese, I used a shredded cheddar & mozzarella (2 cups) instead, and I added garlic to the beef. It was great!

Pizza Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2001
My whole family loved this recipe. The sliced pepperoni was sticking together when I mixed it in though. So, I placed in on top before putting on the cheese, and that worked better.

Kielbasa and Veggies

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2001
My husband and I loved this recipe. My kids were not too crazy about it, but they picked out what they liked. We really do not care for lemon pepper, but our family loves garlic. So, I substituted garlic power for the lemon pepper, and it was very tasty.

Cheeseburger Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2001
This recipe was not that bad, but I probably won't make it again. My kids did not like it. My husband and I ate it, but have tasted better. To me, using spaghetti was not the best choice of pasta, and the sauce was very rich.

Taco Bake II

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2006
I made this recipe thinking my kids would love it. After all it was like a taco. However, it was not so. I do have one very picky eater and he was just not into it. Personally, it was just OK for me. I made the recipe exactly as was listed, but it just wasn't what I thought it was going to be. The chips were soggy and soaked up all the liquid which made the whole thing a little dry. I think it needs more meat and more cheese.

Mom's Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2006
This cake was very good, but it just wasn't the best I had. I was expecting more coffee taste, and I didn't taste it at all. I made the recipe exactly as written. I did frost it with vanilla frosting also. It was moist, rose up nicely and was very easy to make.

Scotcharoos

We love Scotcharoos and this was a great recipe. I also doubled the butterscotch and chocolate chips for the top. Mmmmmmm!

Steakhouse Wheat Bread for the Bread Machine

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
This was awesome bread! Just like the steakhouse bread! It is very heavy and dense. Almost a meal in itself.

Soda Cracker Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
A friend of mine got me hooked on these and then I found the recipe on here. These are soooooo addicting. I used pecans for the top. They are very easy to make, but if you cook them too long they do get hard to chew. I like that they don't break evenly. I think it gives them an added uniqueness.

Di's Delicious Deluxe Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
Out of 6 of us, 2 love deviled eggs and they loved these. Very simple to make, and I made them exactly as the recipe said. My husband does prefer red pepper over paprika, but my son preferred the paprika. Either way, these were a hit in our house for them. Thank you.

Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
These were sooooooooo good! I did make a few changes though, but nothing that really changed the taste. I mixed the cheese in with the potatoes (adding more than a cup probably), and used real bacon bits from a package, which I also mixed in. Fabulous! Great comfort food.

Apple Pie Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
These were so good! My kids loved them. The topping is excellent. I made them exactly as the recipe stated. I don't like huge chunks of fruit in my food, so I diced my apples really small. The muffins were moist and full of flavor. Will definitely make again.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
Like other reviewers, I was hesitant about letting the yeast sit in the water first, but I had no problems at all with this bread rising. I made it exactly as the recipe stated. The only thing I did different was I only used my bread machine on the dough setting. When that was done, I pulled the dough out and put it in a regular bread pan & baked it at 350 for 30 min. This dough rose fast & beautifully. I think better than other dough recipe I have used. When I first glanced in the bread machine, I thought this dough was going to be sticky, but it wasn't. I was able to turn it out of the bread maker into my counter easily. Nice elastic dough. I'm making more of this bread today.

Butterscotch Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
These bars were really good, but they were too much of a pain for me to make again. I followed the recipe exactly, but didn't add the walnuts or raisins because I didn't have any, and no one here is a raisin fan. Yes, the butterscotch chips do 'curdle' when you microwave them, but since I saw that was supposed to happen from other reviewers I just went with it. They are very hard to spread in the pan because they are so sticky and they are also very hard to remove from the pan. I'd recommend lining the pan as well as spraying it. They taste really good though...very sweet.

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2011
I followed this recipe exactly, and these are fantastic. I got 22 mini muffins out of it. I used paper liners, because I hate cleaning muffin tins, so they were easy to remove and dip. I was reluctant to use the full 3/4 tsp of nutmeg because of the other reviews, but I did anyway, and I think they are great.

Baked Meatball Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
I make up a big batch of these meatballs and freeze them. I take them out as I need them for sandwiches or pasta sauces. There are so good!!!! I make them exactly as the recipe states, but I double it. I will never buy frozen meatballs from the store again.

Coffee Chip Drops

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
These are really good cookies, but they are not much different than your typical chocolate chip cookie. However, I did change it just a little. I didn't put walnuts in because my boys don't like them, and I didn't put the kisses on the top because I didn't have any. I'm not sure I would have added it if I did. All in all though, these are really good soft, chewy chocolate-y cookies.

Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: May 26, 2013
I changed the servings from 12 to 18 and it frosted and filled a 9 inch cake perfectly. I will never buy that canned frosting ever again, this frosting is spatula-licking awesome.
