Cinnamon Rolls II

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2004
I was so looking forward to making these. Maybe that's why I was so disappointed. I followed the recipe exactly using my bread machine. I was concerned when it called for 2 cups of liquid. Sure enough, my "dough" was all liquidy. After an hour and 25 minutes and 6 cups of flour I had to ditch it.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

This is such an easy recipe. I made the rolls with 1/2 of the dough and cinnamon rolls with the other half. Both came out delicious. This will be the recipe I use from now on.

Sun Dried Tomato and Asiago Cheese Bread

Reviewed: May 7, 2003
Even though it wasn't clear what temp. the water should be, I took a chance that it should be warm(110 degrees). I used 3 cups of bread flour and omitted the pepper. It came out delicious. It was so soft and full of flavor.

Sand Art Cookies

I don't know how these will taste, but the jar sure is attractive. Very colorful. The arrangement of the ingredients is just right. I like how the flour comes after the brown sugar instead of something it can leak down into.

Potato Chip Cookie Mix in a Jar

The presentation isn't all that attractive. There is so much flour, it takes up most of the jar. I would also suggest putting the pecans after the white sugar so the flour doesn't leak through them.

Country Oatmeal Cookie in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2000
Very attractive. I switched the order of the brown sugar and oats so that the flour would not leak down into the oats. However, when I did that, I did not have enough room for 1 cup each of chips and walnuts. So, I reduced the chips to 3/4 cup and the walnuts to 1/2 cup. Hope it's ok.

Cookie Mix in a Jar IV

I did not like the way this looked with the flour on top or with the raisins and choc. chips together. Next time I will rearrange the order putting the chips after the white sugar, then put the brown sugar, flour and top it off with the raisins.

Cookie Mix in a Jar III

Very nice presentation, however, the next time I will put the white sugar in first, oats next, then brown sugar, flour and raisins. I don't like putting the flour on top of something it can leak down into.

Cookie in a Jar

I suggest reversing the order of ingredients. This way the flour is on top of the brown sugar and not the cereal which it can leak down into.

Chocolate Cookie Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2000
The final presentation of this was not what I was expecting. The next time I will rearrange the order of ingredients. When putting the flour on top of the choc. chips, the flour leaks down into them. I suggest putting the ingredients in this order: white sugar, pecans, brown sugar, flour, then the choc. chips.
