Busy Day Barbeque Brisket

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
My wife made this for me and I asked her to let me review it since I thought it was one of the best dishes that she has made since coming back to the states. This was GREAT. I loved the smokey barbacue taste that she got from a slow cooker. I actually did not believe her when she said she put it in the crockpot. She mixed the liquid smoke with the barbacue sauce and only added the dry rub onto the brisket. She then after six hours took the brisket and put it on a grill pan to get the grill marks then tossed it back into the crockpot with the sauce. This was just fork tender fall apart. Excellent smokey BBQ taste. I honestly thought that she had grilled this on the grill. When I got home she had this outstanding BBQ meal set on the table with candles and it's the best American BBQ meal I've had since being back home. Tomorrow I will be sending her flowers.

Rachel's Wasabi Cocktail Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2007
We thought this was just ok, with all the different reviews it was hard to judge what to do and what not to do. So we added extra wasabi, but we did not care for this so will for other recipes. Thank you for the recipe.

You did a very good job on this. The only difference is we use wheat flour in place of white. We also use sunflower seeds.

This is very popular Christmas cookie in Germany. You need to add a pinch of salt, and eggs depending on how many cookies you make.

Sharktooth Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2007
I did as others suggested and used more liquid, I actually added half and half I also used some diced left over cut up pork, diced garlic peas and carrots. I'm still looking for healthier foods here but at least they like this for lunch though its not a gourmet meal I would hope that no one on this food forum would think any recipe would be with canned soup. And they do like it better than TV dinners ick those are awful. This makes a nice lunch for them, thank you.

My husband liked this a lot. I didn't have the mushroom soup so in it's place used a little wine and chicken broth. I thickened it with corn starch. Thank you for the recipe.

Enhanced Spaghetti

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2007
Did not make a difference to us. We use a little olive oil, which will float to the top during cooking but the noodles won't stick and a couple cloves of garlic which we throw away after the cooking.
