Kentucky Butter Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2013
I loved this cake. I did it in several pastel colors in a bundt pan for Easter and then the icing in another color. I would use a wide stick ( I used a corn dog skewer) to make a ton of holes. Looked festive and was a hit!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Great recipe! I did follow everyone's advice and did half brown sugar and half regular sugar. I also modified to add 3/4 c mini chips and 3/4 c chopped raw walnuts. Best brownies ever!

Amazing! Double the amount of Apple's is my only suggestion. Keep the sugar the same.

Much better than the other recipes we've made before. Very moist, not dry at all. I basted with the milk/butter every ten minutes. Love it as is.

Don't you dare change a thing, especially the cooking temperature and freezer combo. My whole family loves this. Very light and moist.

Not as good as I hoped. Looks a little like melted curtled ice cream. The flavor is decent.

Cranberry Orange Bread

Very good. I shaved my fresh berries to ensure it was even in every bite. I also made a cinnamon crumble top on half the batch. Not bad!

Baked Oatmeal II

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2013
Fantastic as is but I upped the milk by 1/2 cup then added 3/4 c slivered almonds, 1/2 c flax seed and a cubed skinless medium apple. Even better if you use a power dried berry blend. Another alternative I did was adding pumpkin puree, nutmeg, chopped pecans and chopped dates. Very nice for a fall version. I make a pan of this every week and then put it in a big bowl in the fridge. Scoop a little every day and nuke it for 30 seconds. Nutritious, healthy breakfast every day. Love it! Everyone at my work makes it now too!

Really good, however they did get a little too dry. I ended up putting mine in a ziploc with a slice of bread to soften up. Very good flavor.

Who knew this was so easy! They look amazing too. I do reccomend piping it out of a ziploc or pastry bag as they look like white snowman poop when you just spoon them.

Easy Morning Glory Muffins

Extremely delicious, filling and delightful! They are moist, delicate and hearty at the same time. I made them in the large muffing tins and then froze them individually. Pop one in the micro for 45 seconds as you pour your coffee in the morning and you've got yourself a delish breakfast on the go that's good for you too!

I thought they were good, but they definately had too much of a "veggies aftertaste" for anyone else in my family to like them.
